hmm..., Interesting. I wonder if State Wildlife officials ever see anything large on the FLIR,.... like say 8 ft. tall and 500 lbs.

There are some massive areas of forest there when you look at the map.

Anyone know if there are any sightings in the areas that they are scanning?

Checking with the BFRO and PBS, I think you'd be hard pressed finding anywhere in Penna. that hasn't had a sighting at one time or another. Whether it's near large poplulations or secluded areas.

They'll just pass off anything big as a Bear on the infa red. They are trying to be more acurate on the survays, hence the FLIR use. Never could figure out how DNR came up with their numbers on the deer herd, 36 per square mile, ya right. I haven't seen the first game warden this year yet durmg small game season so how are they counting??? I did talk to a few this year by phone about locked gates on WMA's, now when I mentioned bigfoot to them a laugh was the first thing I remember hearing on the phone. I can tell you this DNR here in Ga. don't believe in bigfoot!! If they thought it was real, they'd figure a season out for it and charge us to hunt it. Our deer tags are going from 12 deer per year tooo 17 next year, I do believe Allstate Ins is involved in those numbers though!! Well I hope they see the bigguy on their FLIR maybe they'll do it down here...
