Pic one is cool...almost too perfect, ya know?

Hard to tell from the pic.

Looks like bear...

They seem to be too closely spaced. What's that odd trail behind the heel? You can see it in pic 1 and behind each print in pic 2.

Colorado Tracks...72" between strides
Redwolf
The way the tracks turn in (pigeon toe) and the distance between them lead me to believe these are the melting and overlapping tracks of a black bear.

They look static.

I think they look fake.................. new_thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

I would also say Bear.
The gate is unimpressive, and there is plenty of straddle typical of human or bear. Plus there are drag marks in the heel area. If it was walking in a typical manner of placing its rear feet slightly ahead of the front elongating the prints that could give the appearance of one foot. These appear to have melted out some as well making them appear larger.

Looks like the tracks go in an odd motion. Must be hard to walk for sassy when your feet are that close together and yet you cant control your legs, they go everywhere! Or the sassy was drunk, either way.
Devious Ape
I would also say "Black Bear." Sometimes the front paw and the rear paw step in the same spot, giving an illusion that the animal that went by was a biped. In sand, or clear soil, you cen see traces of the front paw print after the rear paw print is imposed over it. In the snow (and in this case partially melted snow) that subtlety is lost.

looks like bear to me also. wink.gif

Tracks look like a little old man with really big feet shuffling along.
Not enough stride, mr. bf, has a really long stride. look fake
cheers

I agree that the stride seems much too short for a BF, unless it's an arthritic old bugger..However the prints seem much too large for an Oregon Black bear...There are no Griz in Oregon...The shape & size looks more BF or some clown in swimfins...
RAINS
The snow has melted far to much to be able to get any sort of print ID. In the picture yes the prints are far too big to be a Oregon Black bear. But prints can enlarge a couple of hundred %%% as the snow in witch they are in melts. The stride looks like a bear though. In fact it looks exactly as long as some bear prints I fonnd in the snow not very long ago. So I'd say bear 99% other 1% and Bigoot 1%. But still there is that 1% and perhaps it is that the singel didgit that keeps us all going.

You wasted your time posting that? Let me break it down for you. Some teenagers were driving down the road, one got out to take a piss, they drove away as a joke, the kid walked back to the car hence the footprints. zzzZZZzzz
