hi everyone on the night of 1-12-2005 8:45pm i was looking out my livingroom window when i was looking across the street i saw a 5 1/2 ft tall gorilla -human like figure with black hair all over its body & red eyes walking on the railroad tracks behind a snowbank. then it walked on a warehouse parking lot. then it stopped crouching down as of looking at something on the ground then it stood up and it walked to the side of the road after a car went by. then the creature kinda walked quickly across the road & down the railroad tracks again. i never the creature s face. it had a average body shape. its head was medium shape not pointed. i could not determine a weight average of the creature. this sighting lasted for 15 seconds. also it took place in bristol,ct hartford county. i was so excited etc of what i saw it was a great pleasure. if anyone has any questions please email me or write to me. billgreenbg@aol.com. certain researchers who i talked to about my sighting told me they think i saw a possible young sasquatch. last year i found 15 1/2 inche long footprints in my local woods. im still researching this area where i saw the creature. thank you bill green connecticut sasquatch researcher. please feel free to put my sighting in your newsletters or books or even mention it at your bigfoot conferances. please feel free to send any info about bigfoot to my mailing address that is in this bigfoot thread.i think sasquatch creatures use the state of connecticut as a shortcut for their migration route. please keep in touch ok..

Congratulations on being one of the lucky few to get actually see this creature. Did you ever go try to find what was on the ground that it was looking at? Did you happen to take photos or casts of the tracks you found? It sounds like an interesting area of activity. Thanks for sharing with us. Please keep us posted on whatever you find.

hi bf believer im glad you injoyed reading my sighting. yes i did take photos of the area where i saw the creature. no i didnt find any footprints. i could not find anything on the ground that the creature was looking at. maybe it was not looking anything on the ground but maybe when it was crouching down it was kinda nerveous of the passing cars. bill green

Are there any streetlights along the road? How far from your house are the railroad tracks?

I assume that if there was a snowbank that you should have been able to find some tracks in the snow.

hi jeepster yes there was some street lights on dureing my encounter. from my apt.window to where i saw the sasquatch was on the railroad tracks i think is not even a yard but im still researching. i didnt find any footprints in the snow. i think sasquatch creatures use railroad tracks to get to differant states just like they use paths in the woods. bill green ct sasquatch researcher. please keep in touch ok.

You said the creature had red eyes. Are you referring to it's eye shine or it's actual eyes? How far away was the creature from you?

ringmonster good morning i think it was more than 2 1/2 yards where i saw the creature on the railroad tracks and on the parking lot. like i said before everything happened so fast when i saw the creature. im still amazed. i saw the glowing red eyes on the creature when it came on the parking lot. thanks bill green

I am curious what you mean by a "shortcut" and where do you think the bigfoot is migrating to and from?

hi misfitguy, what i mean by bigfoot takeing shortcuts is that connecticut is not a big state full of deer & water etc for them so that connecticut probley a stopover state for them thats probley why there is not alot sightings in my state. as for migration route. i think bigfoot uses certain trails & railroad tracks etc in connecticut to get to other states without being seen. im glad you injoyed reading my report. bill green

hi everyone i find the best time to look for sasquatch evidence in connecticut is either early spring,summer,& fall. last year i found 15 1/2 inche long footprints in my local woods on a path. the first 2 prints i found in august 2004 & 3 prints i found in early october 2004. i will keep you all updated. good morning. thanks bill green

The is hoax and nothing more. If you were an investigator the evidence does not speak for itself. Snow on the ground but no evidence of foot prints. Glowing red eyes? Using railroad tracks as highways to other states, like BF can tell one state from another.

Well Flycatch, if you follow reports you will read that there is a good many sightings near railroad tracks> I for one believe that they do use tracks in some cases as a corridor to get from point A to B. There have also been many reports of red eyes. Sooooooooooo.

I haven't heard of any sasquatch photos from Conneticut, but will let you know if I ever come across one.
The best "photo" out there is of Patty (Roger Patterson film, 1967).. I think that's about the best one you're going to see right now as so many others are hoaxes..

Not to be a skeptical prick, but I live in CT, and have been to Bristol many times. Find it a bit hard to believe that a saquatch in that area would go unnoticed before now. It's settled enough and has enough hunter type folk living in the area that something like that would not stay hidden long.

As I live there, none that I know of, the NW corner is pretty woodsey but bristol is more Central. I find this report a little hard to buy.

In the original post that began this thread you indicated that you did not see the subject's face, but you also indicated that you observed red eyes. How is it possible to have observed the subject's red eyes without seeing it's face?

hi dig & everyone i think the sasquatch was takeing a shortcut through bristol,ct on the railroad. and the reason i didnt see the creature s face is becouse it was dark outside & i think hair might have been on its face. like i said before about seeing the red glowing eyes on the creature on the parking lot as the creature was leaveing the parking to go on the side of the road called emmett st then it walked realy quickly across the road then down the railroad tracks. ive always wondered if sasquatch ever prowled the new britian resivore becouse there is lot deer & water etc for them there. plus the area is posted & the creature would be protected there. its just a thought. thanks bill green

i know there is great amount of caves dens in connecticut where sasquatch creatures can feel protected from harm. such as the torrie den caves & caves around rivers etc. bill green

One evening a few years back - my wife and I observed a coyote running on the railroad tracks just outside our town.

We followed it from a distance on the road.

It ran along those tracks all the way thru the center of our fairly large city (pop 38,000) until it got back out into the country and jumped off into the woods.

We were mighty surprised a coyote would commute on the railroad to go cross-country.

Why then wouldn't bigfoot?
