hey everyone i went in my local woods today but i didnt find anything but im sure hopefully nesra is finding possible sasquatch evidence or maybe getting possible ct sasquatch reports but i think the sasquatch creatures are going in caves or makeing nests or leaveing connecticut forests for warmer forests areas becouse of colder winters are comeing indeed. please keep us updated ok.

Lately I've been reading up on the history of BF, the P-G footage, etc. It is surprising just how many so called experts either believe in BF or are willing to at least suspend judgment until more evidence is presented. hey evan the creature i saw 2 years ago was seen across the street from my apt building so it would a couple or few feet away thanks for question but welcome to the bigfootforums anyway, no new sasquatch activity or footprints in my research area becouse of construction but i have other research areas to look at so im not worried. im sure other new england researchers in this great forum are hearing or seeing new info or rumers of sightings im paient im sure everyone here is as well. i went in my local forests today but i didnt anything oh well maybe next time

Had some knee surgery and in the midst of a divorce so I have not had any tiem to get out there Bill. My knee will not be up for any meaningful hiking for about four more weeks. Did here a strange story from a mountain biker down in Burlington. I guesshe and a lady friend heard something big spalshing around in the Nepaug a couple weeks back when on a night hike. Only reason I'm mentioning it was because he said how bad it smelled down there. Other than that I got nothin'.

i dont know much about bigfoot so i'll try and make this breif so i dont bother you experts. i was driving with my dad and out of the corner of my eye i saw something tall, slender and brown walking into the woods. i dont know if i saw a bigfoot but i thought you maybe interested , i live in a rural/suburban place in connecticut and so i thought i probably wasnt any thing unusual although it scared the crap out of me.

I believe the effect of swamp gas reflecting off of the planet Venus channeling back down through the canopy of the Connecticut forest may have caused the temporary illusion which has been know to turn ordinary people, like hunters or folks just walking through the woods, into Bigfoot.

Well, I admit I do not know much about activity in the Northeast, being based in Mississippi, but how close is Waterbury to Bristol? There is always a distinct possibility that if Bill saw a Sasquatch, that if Waterbury is close by and is surrounded by forest and mountains, maybe it is a migration route for the creatures, or maybe a living area, who knows? I do not know the area, so I have no perspective on whether the area is suitable for long-term activity or not. Still, this is rather interesting stuff, and worth looking into with more than just a cursory glance.

It's a few miles distant but close. If you trail on up through Wolcott along route 69 there are lots of woods and hollows and such. Onc ein Waterbury there are a few places. like on the hills that surround Holy Land, that might be thick enough for a critter but around Waterbury there are tons of forest esp. in Middlebury and such.

Did I miss something where He said Waterbury? He just said suburan/rural area....





There was an older sighting in that general area in the later 80s.... no others that I'm aware of.

Back up one click and read the thread directly above this section, "Reporting Your Encounter". Nobody's picking on you in particular, everybody who shows up here with a sighting gets the same treatment, so this is nothing special -- don't take it as a personal attack. You saw what you saw, just stick to the story and explain the moment as best as you can remember. It might be BF, it might not, and while we enjoy kicking around the possibilities, you can bet we'll never figure it out here for sure anymore than you did there that day. You could get game cam shots of yourself in hand to hand combat with a bigfoot, and post them here, but there'd still be people who'd argue whether the pictures, the bigfoot, or you yourself were real. Its what we do here, we poke each other with sticks to see if we're real.

I am still interested in hearing about the waterbury sighting Ganglian. This is first time I have heard of any. Lord knows there are plenty of places around waterbury, not only around the RT 69 corridor, but the north side to, towards thomaston and plymouth and also watertown. Sure would make the fmaily camp outs at Black Rock more interesting this summer LOL. The kids love it when I share My sighting and then proceed to scare the hell out of them lol
