hi everyone seeing spring is around the corner it looks like connecticut sasquatch creatures are trying make a comeback probley becouse of alot more food resources & water in connecticut forests. i think in my honest opinion that sasquatch creatures come to connecticut forests not just becouse food resources for themselfs but the forests offers them protection from being harmed etc. im going in my local woods tommarrow morning with my camera to look for sasquatch evidence i hope i definetly find something. please feel free to visit my forum you will see the link at the above post. any opinions would be great. thanks bill :new_thumbsupsmileyanim: :new_thumbsupsmileyanim:

hi researchers good morning here s my field report for today. i heard 2 unexplained sounds in the woods that might have come from a sasquatch. sounds only lasted 10 seconds each time very interesting. didnt find any footprints or other sasquatch related evidence. i found plenty of deer tracks . i will keep you all posted of future. at least i know maybe the creatures are comeing back to the woods. good morning bill. i will keep you all posted of my future field research trips in the forests. the sounds were like kinda loud but low like screeching sound but differant. more investigation is definetly be done to this area.

That looks very interesting Bill, i'm glad you're getting out into the forests. Did the vocalisation sound like any of the purported sasquatch sounds? Maybe you heard a
squirrel?

Hey there Bill. I was out hiking in the Nasssahegan Forest in Burlington, CT Friday morning.
I was out there hiking and doing some trail maintenace lwhen I came across bizare little rock piles. Pyramid shaped I guess you would call them though not very symmetrical but not a natural sight by any means. i found four of them about 200 or so yards apart headed west on the Blue Trail. No footprints or weird noises though there was a set of rather large bear tracks that ran side by side with smaller bear tracks so once i ran across those tracks I decided it may be a cool idea to go the other way and avoid any messy encounters I most likely would end up on the bad end of. :new_weirdsmiley:
There has been a few reports the area of far western Hartford and Litchfield County and there were a few reports of Mountain Lions here in the past year due to the abundance of dear. If there's enough range for a cougar I reckon that it's as reasonable to think a Bigfoot could hide out in the thick bush of the Blue and Appalaichan Trails.
I belive this part of the state may even be a thru corridor for the critters. It runs from the middle of the state straight up into the Berkshires and from there a critter can fan out into upstate NY, the northern New England states and Canada. There's plent of game, shelter, caves and water. If they follow game then I reckon CT. might have a few of the Big guy's foraging the trail corridors but then again I may very well be insane. :new_whistle:

hi sean & mym good evening thanks for those great replys. thanks bill please keep in touch ok. on my side of connecticut its pretty quiet as sasquatch activity but im sure nersa or other researchers here got some stuff from connecticut forests. mym thanks for posting the google map link of the location where you look for possible sasquatch evidence.
I take the bus into Forestville, Ct everyday by way of Hartford. Anyway for those familiar with the area just as Route 72 ends there's a boggy/swampy/wooded area that runs parallel to railroad tracks.
Anyway today on the bus I was sitting next to this old codger and he was telling me about the old Plainville Canal and he motioned down to this area next to the wetlands as we were stuck behind a line of traffic waiting to exit the highway and says "When I was a kid Bigfoot used to live down there". I was like, "huh". He said that there were a bunch of sighting back in the 60's and 70's and pretty much everyone in the Forestville area saw the critter at one time or another.
I asked how come I never heard of such a thing having lived here my whole life or read anything in local papers. he told me that some towns "still know how to keep secrets" and called the local paper "a rag"

Anyway, I did some searching when I got home via google and it did not turn anything up. I did not mention anything to the guy about my interest in the subject and the casual way he just sort of casually dropped it in while talking about the canal made it feel like he was just talking as truthfully as he would about the sky being blue.

hey mym WOW your very welcome for that new ct sasquatch activity update. good evening bill. p.s. i take the bus once in awhile when i go to westfarms mall in farmington,ct. please keep me and everyone here updated on any ct sasquatch activity you might hear about ok, i only hear about ct sasquatch activity once in awhile. :new_thumbsupsmileyanim: that forest swamp area you are talking could be just a possible temperary rest area for sasquatch creatures, another area would be the new britain resievor lots of deers and water for sasquatch but like said before only temperary area. people dont go in that area becouse its posted so sasquatch would be save in there for awhile maybe.

It's so hot and dry here and not too many people are getting out in the woods. It will probably be this way for the next few months. I'm looking forward to fall weather again! :new_thumbsupsmileyanim:

hi everyone on the night of 1-12-2005 8:45pm i was looking out my livingroom window when i was looking across the street i saw a 5 1/2 ft tall gorilla -human like figure with black hair all over its body & red eyes walking on the railroad tracks behind a snowbank. then it walked on a warehouse parking lot. then it stopped crouching down as of looking at something on the ground then it stood up and it walked to the side of the road after a car went by. then the creature kinda walked quickly across the road & down the railroad tracks again. i never the creature s face. it had a average body shape. its head was medium shape not pointed. i could not determine a weight average of the creature. this sighting lasted for 15 seconds. also it took place in bristol,ct hartford county. i was so excited etc of what i saw it was a great pleasure. if anyone has any questions please email me or write to me. billgreenbg@aol.com. certain researchers who i talked to about my sighting told me they think i saw a possible young sasquatch. last year i found 15 1/2 inche long footprints in my local woods. im still researching this area where i saw the creature. thank you bill green connecticut sasquatch researcher. please feel free to put my sighting in your newsletters or books or even mention it at your bigfoot conferances. please feel free to send any info about bigfoot to my mailing address that is in this bigfoot thread.i think sasquatch creatures use the state of connecticut as a shortcut for their migration route. please keep in touch ok..

:new_whistle:
hey mym good morning wow its been awhile how are ya. so how are your ct sasquatch/bigfoot research comeing along. i seem to remember reading a couple articles in the hartford courant in 80s sometime of some sasquatch sightings on some farmslands in ellington,ct. im sure connecticut sasquatch activity will pick up soon i hope..... there has been a good amount of black bears sightings in connecticut this year i guess it continues... thanks bill green

Bill, what forest was that? The woods behind Birge Pond? The DEP also has a large tract of land blue taped in the Nassahegan near Devil's Kitchen as well. Just trying to figure out what other parts of woods we grew up around they are starting to tear down now.
