I remember reading in one of these posts that article with bob h. and friends where they had a costume and said the PG film was a hoax. Anyway, one said they were doing this because “it is dangerous for people to believe in myths” umm . . . dangerous? If they are so concerned about public safety I can think of things more dangerous that they could be campaigning against like smoking or drunk driving or boating without a life jacket. If believing in myths is dangerous, will they also be warning children about believing it Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny? Just my thoughts on these guys . . .

It is either one of the world's biggest hoaxes or the best evidence that bigfoot is real.
A film that appears to capture a half-man, half beast in the California backwoods.
But a Yakima man says the film's a fake and that making bigfoot was about making big bucks.
If it was supposed to make people believe,it did. "They blew up the frames and you could see the muscles moving on the creature" says Lee Bates, an Ellensburg man who believes bigfoot is real.
But if it was a scam to make money, it did that too. "They were going to sell it to Hollywood and make loads of money off it" says Bob Heironimus.
Heironimus says the famous bigfoot film is a con put on by men motivated by money. "I dressed up in the suit.It took about ten minutes and I was done" says Heironimus.
Heironimus says Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin came up with the idea, then got some high-powered help to make it a reality. "Al DeAtley is Roger Patterson's brother in law.He financed all of Roger's bigfoot ventures."
We contacted Yakima businessman Al DeAtley.
He denies involvement in any kind of hoax, but Heironimus says DeAtley was a key player. "I went to Eureka California and mailed the film to Yakima so it could be processed. Al DeAtley's name was on the package."
Heironimus says everyone involved stood to benefit. "DeAtley knew it was a money maker, and he did make money off it."
Heironimus says he is the only one who didn't get his due. "It took ten minutes, I was supposed to get a thousand bucks for it, never did."
37 years later, Heironimus plans to tell his story and sell his story.
He says his time to shine has finally come, even if the glare of the spotlight exposes others.

Actually I think this whole Bob thing is VERY important. It will show for the last time (hopefully) that no matter what nonsense is brought up, nothing can prove that the P/G film is a hoax. How many 'revelations' has there been down the years? All of them proved absolutely zilch. This last one is just the biggest and the most publicized and like all the others is complete BS!

Screamer, thanks for posting the link to those long-forgotten (by me at least) interviews. If memory serves, these interviews were from the earliest days of the fray, and it's interesting to see them again and compare them to what we now know.
For instance, in the G.L. portion of the interviews, to the question " Why do you believe Bob H's Story?", G.L.'s 19-point answer begins with "He has never changed his story"

Regardless of what someone may think of me personally, which I have to laugh at because most of the people do NOT know me personally at all, and can't seem to remember even what COUNTRY I live in -- I am too busy doing RESEARCH and MAKING A DIFFERENCE to MOST PEOPLE and I am too busy trying to make a difference in this world. I am here to Serve and Inform. THANKFULLY, the handful of vocal, noisy negativists that call themselves my "critics" are NOT in the majority, in fact they are the rare exception. THEY are the ones that have to face the hard facts and refute my work, not me. Whenever I discover a truth that people care about, I have a moral and spiritual obligation to get it out to the public in as wide a variety of forums and avenues as possible. I am not obligated to respond or spend any time on those who just do not "get it" or cannot see things objectively.
