hi , I've just finished reading greg long's book The Making Of Sasquatch, and I'd like to know if anyone else has read this book and their opinionof it! He seems to have proved the Patterson/Gimlin film footage is a fake! what do you think? mike hogan

Mike,

I for one am very glad you posted here.

Now that you have read the book, I would invite you to read some of the many 'greg Long' threads on this forum - I will post links here later when I get a few minutes.

Please ignore some of the nastier remarks about greg - some people let their emotions get the better of them (including greg Long himself).

When you have read them, please post your thoughts here as to whether you still believe Greg Long's version of events or not.

In the meantime, I'm moving this thread to 'media'.

I haven't read it and I have no wish to. I have read many excerps from the book which is enough and I have read discussions about the book in this forum and other places and it is obviously to anybody that the book is full of inconsistencies and downright lies.

The brutal fact of the matter is that without the original 'suit' or any photos of the main players WITH said 'suit' or IN said 'suit' then nothing can be proven and as a consequence the book is a total waste of time.

There is nothing that proves anything. It offers only words and hearsay 'evidence', none of which stand up to close examination and the statements of the main players all seem to contradict the other.

Lets try not to make this thread an 'anti-greg' thread.

Mike is the first person that has come here having read the book and decided that Long is right - I think it would be interesting to point him in the direction of the better threads on the subject, and then if he hasn't changed his mind, ask him how he can defend his position.

Fair enough Paul. I'm just pointing out that nothing whatsoever has been proven. I'm sure once Mike sees the other side of the coin he'll change his mind. It'll be interesting to read what Mike's conclusions are once he delves into the whole story.
