I'm sure, most of us have heard about the cost of being out in the
field? Looking for Sasquatch here...and searching for Bigfoot there!
Getting past the equipment end of it of course, because of the toys
that could be involved, and the price-tags associated to them, we
find ourselves at...'Where the rubber meets the road.'
Depending on how eccentric we are, with such things as accommodations,
eating Russian caviar while casting, and flying to location by Lear-jet...
we find ourselves where most Week-end Bigfoot Warriors are - Down-
to-earth.
If we were to stay home, most of us coming from some sort of urban
sprawl, our money would disappear to things such as videos & snacks,
7-11 trips, honky-tonks & bars, movie-theatres, and shopping - sorry to
the ladies. The list - you make the call. But I'm sure some of it may be
illegal? ...ANYWAY!!
Trucking off to the woods (by car for the politically correct) - we find the
piece and tranquility of the Great Outdoors, and maybe a Sasquatch thrown
in? Eating at home or in the woods should almost average out, unless you're
a wild-animal yourself? If you're not stalking Bigfoot in a National or Provincial
Park, there shall be no fees, and your gas costs should be the big expense.
You may even have a fairly regular bowel movement if Sasquatch decides to
step out of the bush. (Colon-cleansing for the politically correct.)
Being in the fresh open-air, this too, can make a difference to your well-being,
give you exercise, make your family think you're crazy, and may amount to
money well spent? You could even end up as a 'Lean Mean Sasquatch Chasing
Machine?'
It's not that expensive, I guess, unless you plan on going a hundred times? I'll
side with you guys on that!!
