Anyone see the new episode of the new show called Proof Positive tonight on Sci Fi? They featured a segment that was on the *goat man*, and they even had Meldrum analyzing what he deemed as, most likely, a fake footprint casting.

I also noticed they had the sheriff from that area on there who dealt with this when it happened. (forget his name) He was also on Artistfirst, recently, speaking on this very series of sightings......and he stands by the authenticity of the witnesses, and seems to believe this thing is real.

But, as I have always thought, from the descriptions of this thing according to th witnesses, that this thing is a bigfoot.

I watched it tonight and I'm confused about the Lizard Man segment. I thought I had read somewhere that the creature attacked a moving car (I was thinking it was the guy's car who had stopped to change a tire). It seemed that they were saying on this program that the car that was damaged was parked in a driveway at the time, and that the tire changing incident did not involve actual physical contact (the guy jumped in his car and sped away -- they made no mention that the animal chased him).


The show itself was pretty well done. Wonder if they will have future episodes dealing with other "bigfoot" type sightings? If so, depending on how it is approached, it could be either a help or a hindrance to the research. They've already made use of Dr. Meldrum, maybe they'll keep him in the wings for future footprint analysis.

I would imagine that they would almost have to cover bigfoot, given the program's content.

Yeah, I also heard from the Sheriff on Artistfirst, that it had attacked a moving car, AND a parked car, too. I think the sheriff assumed it had an attraction to the shiny trim on these cars......

The episode with the *goatman* is episode 102.
