I came across this impression in a dry stream bed, last fall while doing some off trail hiking. Any opinions would be great.

Definitely photos...nothing "possible" about it. 
But, no, I can't really make anything out too clearly in order to comment. It is odd that it was in a dry bed...I've always thought they travelled via streams, so why not a dry one? Makes sense to me, anyway. Perhaps some bf hunters will see this as a possible method to invest some time into.
