What exactly can I expect other than the speakers, if I do go? It will be my first. How many people are expected to attend? Anyone know? Do most people who attend but are not local get a room, camp out?

If you attend the VIP dinner Friday night, you will not only be treated to an excellent catered BBQ dinner, but you will be able to speak with the speakers one on one. You might even be able to be seated next to one of them for dinner (they will probably be in demand). You will also be able to participate in a group discussion with all of the speakers on the legitimacy of the P/G film in particular and the evidence for Bigfoot in general.
On Saturday, there will be an auction of Bigfoot books and collectables, as well as 10 hours or so of presentations.
This is the 4th year for the event. In 2001, we had 150 people attend. In 2002, we had just over 250. Last year, we had 300+, and it was standing room only. We outgrew that venue, and have now moved to a location that can seat double that if need be. I am expecting (hoping for) 400 people.
Here are some comments about the previous years' events:
"The 2002 Texas Bigfoot Conference was the best damn Bigfoot conference I have ever attended." "Craig Woolheater's great Bigfoot Conference will make Jefferson the new annual mecca for serious and friendly researchers, hunters and the merely interested."
- Loren Coleman
"Kudo's to Craig Woolheater from the TBRC for all his hard work in putting on a well organized and exciting event. I had a blast and hope to see more people at these events in the future."
- Bobby Hamilton
"CRAIG -- WOW!!! -- just wanted to say "THANK YOU" for the wonderful weekend --YOU (and I am sure many others) did a FABULOUS job putting together this OUTSTANDING conference -- it was TERRIFIC!!!"
- Link Hullar
"What a fantastic job you did on the conference. In spite of the setbacks and changes, it went off beautifully. I heard nothing but accolades from the people who have been to so many of the other conferences that this was one of the best they had ever attended."
- D. L. Tanner
"The conference to me ranks as tied for number one with Ray Crowe's 2000 conference in Portland, Oregon among all the conferences I have attended so far. Congratulations to Craig Woolheater and all the Texas gang. Craig could take that meeting anywhere in the world, to any audience and stand tall. We were in Bigfoot land and it was great. Also the Texas group seemed to have friendship and unity among themselves. Nice people to be with. Thanks for all your hospitality."
- Fred Grimnitz
