Wray, Fay Who's screaming from the hand of Kong brought both terror and sadness to our hearts.
Born in 1907 Near Carlston Alberta Canada, Fay Wray was a teenager when she started working as an extra in L.A. She then went on to star in numerous silent-era Westerns. She is most famous for her portrayal of "Ann Darrow"; a character with sex-appeal and genuine vulnerability in Willis O'Brien's "King Kong" (1933).
Fay Wray died today at age 96!

King Kong, my favorite horror movie creature. I think we all have primal fears of large ape like creatures for a reason. They could have won the evolutionary wars.
