NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I don't think I can handle another, so called, reality show. There is nothing real about any of those idiotic shows. And, if the 'Bigfoot Reality' were to get off the ground, the production company would try to turn it into something stupid. Like having some brainless wit running around in a 'Sasquatch' suit. Then at the end of the show they'd pull up the guy and say something like, "Here's Bigfoot! Sorry folks, but there is no such thing as bigfoot."
Respect that thought, but I think this so wrongly labeled "reality show" is not what you think or perceived as the common "reality show".

I for one would be interested in participating in something like this. I do wonder what kind of negative attention this might bring to the community.
You know that depends on how the show is step up, I had the opportunity to exchange opinions a little more in depth with Johnie B and it seemed to me that he had a great idea and maybe the
"reality show" tittle might give some wrong impressions of what he is trying to achieve.
To my understanding the whole idea still is being developed and the exact details of the show have not being totally finished, but in general terms what Johnnie B wanted to create was a scientific oriented expedition/contest that would place several teams in different locations hunting for Bigfoot. Now the important issue here is that
strick guidelines will be imposed on how to conduct the search, collecting and presenting evidence; and I understood that any person or group caught trying to hoax or cheat either in evidences physical or digitally (photos/video) would automatically be
disqualified. Since members of the show (auditors for each team and cameraman from the show) would be present at all time with the contestants they will also help control any attempt of hoaxing.
The way I see this project is positive as long as clear rules are set and enforced upon the contestants by the producers of the show. This could bring more attention to the BF issue, more enthusiasts and maybe more funding for other projects relating to BF.
For many Bigfooters that are highly reserved with their info and findings the idea of the show might sound bad or even threatening in many ways to their ongoing highly secret investigations... For others it would help them generate more interest and maybe get more people involved in their quest (can be positive or negative depending). The only way I can assure anybody the show would be
extremely negative would be if the show actually turn out to be a scripted show (scripted dialogues, events and results), with fabricated evidences, false reports, drama filled characters; in other words a typical reality show format.
Again by talking to Johnnie B the impression I got is that this project has no intention of being scripted to the contrary it will be absolutely no tolerant to hoaxes or other type of improper behavoir that would undermine the intendend goal: catch Sas. A common methodology and protocols would be established and the focus on the show would be set as a scientific rather than a paranormal expedition. Now that is a great idea!!!!
My two cents, wait a minute I think by now is close to a quarter...
