Howdy All
Was just watching that crocodile hunter guy on animal planet and he was visiting some zoo some place. Well they had this one enclosure with only male gorillas and he was telling about them.
What I thought was so neat was one of the biggest gorillas stood straight up for a bit. I had never seen one so that before and was sort of shocked just how much it looked like what we think Bigfoot looks like. If it had longer legs it could easily have been 7 or 8 feet tall (He said it was already standing over 6 feet tall and 500 lbs) or even taller. But the upper body while standing up like that reminded me so much of what you see in drawings of male Bigfoot. No neck to speck of and just solid muscle. I could easily see how a female gorilla could be a spitting image of patty in the Patterson film (Upper body wise)
I spent some time looking online for some pictures of one standing up and can not find any. If anyone knows where a picture is of one standing straight up is please point it out.

It is really surprising just how much different they look when standing straight up instead of walking on all fours like we always see them.

Yea chimps are easy to find standing up. But gorillas seem to be hard so maybe they do not do it to much. But look at that one in the water, Say that water was like 5 feet deep would that or would that not look a lot like what a Bigfoot looks like ?

I saw that too, micahn. That was the forst thing that popped into my mind too. Very similar, except for the stumpy legs, of course.

I also realized I have never seen a gorilla stand that erect, very cool. That particular one was massive.
