I feel really dumb asking this,

but I'm not sure where else to ask it: Is John Green still alive?

John Green is alive and well. Grover Krantz is dead. Rene Dahinden is dead. Peter Byrne is alive.

Does anyone have contact information for him? Does he ever visit this forum?

I ordered mine ML, and it didn't come, and didn't come... after a month I emailed them and just a couple of weeks ago was told that it wouldn't be released til more toward the end of summer, and the gal who answered me was SUPPOSED to go in and change that on the website... apparently she didn't, huh?

Pithecus, where you been kid? If you don't know who John Green is, why are you in a bigfoot forum? Did you ever hear of the "Four Horsemen"? (Not the biblical ones, the bigfoot guys) You have a lot of reading to catch up on. And I envy you for getting to be reading it all for the first time. Go for it. (There will be a test when you finish)

That about figures. At least it will be out soon. I'll wait until I know they have it in stock before I order. Glad I asked first.

Can't wait!!

Not to start a flame thread, but can't help responding. "God is dead" is not quite right. He was dead, but now is alive forevermore.
And remember, I didn't start it. Can't believe a Mod didn't pull it, but, then, he shouldn't pull mine, either.

Maybe because a mod didn't read it until just now....I'll leave it up for now so as not to screw anyones post count...Just leave it go and it stays ,,,take it any further and it goes ..deal ?

Chewy, I don't think InRepair meant anything by that. I think it was just a joking answer when someone said "John Green is dead" Of course I can't say what he meant but that was the way I TOOK IT. Folks here are so friendly and laid back I just expect them to be cool and usually they really are.

Garland-
Thanks for the kind reply. I know what you're saying, and, trust me, I do hear what you're saying.
But I promised JimF that I'd let it rest, and I'm gonna.
So, how's about them Yankees??? (awkward topic change.)

That's the quote that inspired my Nietzsche quote, and counselor's rejoinder; the way ekimklaw said it was just so bizarrely matter-of-fact that it piqued my funny-bone.
[btw...Time magazine famously had a cover in the 60's that was just the question, "Is God Dead?" in a large, white font set against a black background.]
