Bipto recently posted a pic in the Requesting Primateer's Services thread. It is the Bluff Creek aerial view from 1971. As usual, I did a closer look, & I think the results are interesting. Any thoughts?

At the risk of incurring even greater enthusiasm, I'm re-posting, to show why this doesn't look like flat shadow to me. But I appreciate your input, hehe.

edit: I trust this is showing up as intended, with some finer gradations of color & shading? But if you're seeing, say, an opaque mess w/no definition whatsoever, that is definately not what it's about...

Of course it doesn't look like a flat shadow - it is a shadow on a bumpy tree trunk !

The shadow on the tree trunk (inside the red circle at the upper right of the original photo) is only interesting because it "appears" to be a reverse silhouettte of the Patty creature from the P/G film. But it's still omly a shadow.

One might want "something" to be there, thus believing that "something" IS there.

Yes, it would be great if "something" was there, but don't you think someone else would have proved it sometime in the last 37 years?

Yes, QW, good points made... & I do like that this photo is a mere four years after the original epic.
Anyway, think about the odds: I, for one, had never even seen that particular picture until Bipto put it up. On a bigger scale, how many people accept BF as a possible entity, let alone do any research into it? I think that narrows things down by a tolerable fraction. And, that is not to suggest that anything circled is definately anything exciting, but that, if it looks more than a little distinct (to me), I will ask this board, and keep it out of the "main" threads, as well.

The International Society for Blobsquatch Research and Studies (ISBRS) states that when observing a Blobsquatch in a photograph one must do the following:

1. Have visited the BFF.com continously for five nights straight between the hours 2am to 4am reading threads about sightings and photographs.

2. To stand up and move back about 30 feet from the computer screen while looking at the blobsquatch photgraph.

3. Optional is to be observing this during a lighting storm and a full moon.

For me, it's a bit of a head scratcher. Very subjective, to begin with, & after this one I'll definately be accused of seeing them everywhere. (Volsquatch, I tried, really...) NOT trying to stir the pot, just asking, as I said before. Please, show mercy!!! :willies:

Re: the red square on the left center of the picture. Is that centered on the aura of a BF in the process of making an interdimensional jump? If so, my hat's off to you because I don't think anyone has ever caught that before!
