The play is listed as being from the 1920's but with no exact date.
As for the book (compilation), I'm still "clipping" the raw files I found!

Here's some more as I've made it to Ohio for now...moving alphabetically I am...

Keep posting those clippings Tirademan!!
I love how as long as you can explain an event as being a hoax using the most outrageous hypothesis and unreal evidences, the people automatically accepts it. Actually most of the people don't even question those explanations, while the real evidence and posible explanations are put aside and the people who presented that evidence are discriminated and ridiculized. Just by looking at these old clips you can tell that something is out there, not a myth, urban/suburban legend, or product of few pranksters but rather a creature that keeps having reported encounters with us in different locations and with different types of people, and we are just trying to deny it, ignore it, or ridiculize it... Even sadder is to see that some people had tried to take advantage of this topic and the way the topic has been addressed in general to create personal profit (Bob H, Korff, Long, Wallace, etcs) out of the few people that has bring some interesting evidences. I hope people start to look back with an open mind on the increasingly amount of past and new evidence that is out there but not taken in a serious and unbias manner.....
Man, what the hell did I just wrote?? I guess the Advils and Prozacs are kicking in.....
Any way, I love this thread because it shows that sources for information and reports for good old Sas are available and has being available everywhere, not only in Cryto magazines and few Sas related sites but they don't get the recognition (just by shear number of sightings and stories) that they should.... If Tirademan can create a book of just old news and magazine clippings without any analysis of the clips/news will be an interesting book to have that would make the perfect complement to any Bigfoot's book collection being enthusiast or not on the topic.
Ok now it is time to call poison control and avoid writting too much nonsenses in the forum, talk about over medication!!....

You know, much as literary critics will edit a collection of reviews for important writers, someone (and I nominate you) needs to edit together a collection of all these great newspaper articles you are gathering. I suppose there must really be thousands, so you could organize them into certain "groups" and select representative examples. Since most of the stuff you are finding is (or will be soon) in the public domain, there is little trouble with copyright.
Of course, it would only be of interest to researchers, so not likely to be a blockbuster, but still.. it really ought to be done.

I'm in the process of compiling these into a book now. I'm laying it out in Quark. These new posts are the files I'm just getting to now. If you go back a few pages, you can see photos of the "first layout" before I found a new cache. I will keep everyone posted as to it's status, I'm hoping I have something done in the next couple of months.

OK, next round of posts, then it's Go Pack! for me!
Here's some "mysterious animal" finds...this first one is interesting...anyone ever see this episode?
Yes, big cats are probably out there too, but it seems people assume that any mysterious nocturnal hunter must be a "Panther" because Sasquatch isn't on their damn list! (IMHO) And yes, I saw the part about seeing a tail...could both be in the woods perhaps?
