Another one in PA...

This is one of those reports that I feel probably started as a "legitimate" find, but which ballooned into farce by way of the skeptics explanations!

Who knows...

tirademan
Tirademan
and more eyewitnesses...

tirademan
Tirademan
more in WA...

tirademan
Tirademan
and another...

tirademan
Tirademan
Cripple foot appears...

tirademan
Tirademan
Lake monsters, panthers and Sasquatch!

As a side note...I've found MANY MANY MANY stories regarding lake/sea monster, panther, cougar, and possible UFO sightings in my searches for the hairy people...

I just don't really have the time to save/organize/edit/chop it all...I'm just trying to focus as I'm already swamped! biggrin.gif

Anyway, if anyone has something SPECIFIC with dates names, etc. they want me to search the newspaper archives for, let me know...

tirademan
Tirademan
I believe this is still Cripplefoot...

tirademan
Tirademan
I'd already posted this story before, but this is a better copy of it...and relates to the previous WA timeline...

tirademan
Tirademan
The Smithsonian takes a crack...

tirademan
Tirademan
Grover in Ohio...

tirademan
Tirademan
This is interesting...

The Sasquatch "has been officially recognized by the Army Corps of Engineers."

tirademan
Tirademan
"Monsters and Mythic Beasts" and the (apparently) dead brothers MacLeod!

tirademan
Tirademan
Speaking of mythic beasts...

Can we PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE refrain from a thread hi-jack?

I'm posting these next 2 because I thought they provide some HISTORICAL background, not because I wanted to debate the merit of the very normal theories described!...end of tirade! wink.gif

tirademan
Tirademan
...well, mostly normal...at that time.

tirademan
Tirademan
Now this is VERY COOL...anyone have/seen one of these sculptures?

tirademan
Tirademan
Military dude shaken up. Todd Neiss (sp?) saw a group there, I think...

tirademan
Tirademan
Ray Pickens and those ubiquitous wooden feet!

In all three sizes nonetheless! But wait, isn't his timeline a little off?

Boy, that sounds familiar!

tirademan
Tirademan
Another general fluff piece of the times...

tirademan
Tirademan
Grover article...

tirademan
Tirademan
It's probably a good thing he never finished the copter!

tirademan
Tirademan
And a Paul Freeman article...

tirademan
Tirademan
OK, more on the MacLeod brothers. Headless? Or bones found in 1908?

tirademan
Tirademan
Searching on "beast" and found a few more in the more recent history pile. This one in the middle of LA! Guess I should get down in the sewers!

tirademan
Tirademan
...but I guess a smelly vagrant is an easier answer!

tirademan
Tirademan
There was a much earlier post that referenced this one...

tirademan
Tirademan
This one was also reference with an earlier post I believe...

tirademan
Tirademan
And China's search was on...

I would love to see a massive collection of newspaper accounts like these, as well as photo comparisons of real apes with the PG film together with the history of costumes and hoaxes through the years in a single big book or DVD.

Excellent material triademan. thumbup.gif

Thanks for the thanks!

I'm wading through a bunch of "newer" finds and pixel pushing in Photoshop to cut them out.

But I'm STILL working on the Quark "book" compilation which I will make available in one format or another...even if it's passing copies around to Xerox.

Here's a shot of my "very rough" 1st version. The title will change. I'm breaking it out state by state, chronologically. I think I'll need to add a complete "chronological" list in the back so it's easier to see the "timeline" of them all.

I just have to resist searching for more... huh.gif

...even if it's passing copies around to Xerox.

I think you've put too much time/effort to give it away.
You and bipto should work something out, say a $5 donation to BFF and the cost of photocopying......then, we can get a copy.
I'd pony up, in a heartbeat, it's a great collection of relevant media. thumbup.gif

Here's the next round...I'm still wading throught the pile. More interesting stuff though! Starting with the Fouke monster...
