Full Version: Find Fuzzy #2

Inspired by RobUstes topic "Find the Fuzzy !", I decided to post one of my own pictures taken deep within the Hockomock swamp in Massachusetts. The Hockomock Swamp as I'm sure most of you are aware has had numerous bigfoot sightings over the years as well as many other types of paranormal activity reported mostly from within an area known as the "Bridgewater Triangle".

So here goes, It was in August of 2002 and I was alone walking down a trail heading in a Northwestly direction, The breeze was blowing out of the northwest this day so I was heading into the wind. I usually pick my trails this way. Suddenly there is the sound of movement through the brush to the north of me. I freeze, the noise continues for just a another second and it freezes. I take a picture in the general direction that I last heard the sound. Figuring whatever it may be, it knows I am there and it is now trying to get downwind of me so that it can have a better fix on my position. I slowly start moving back down the trail so that I can possibly get a view of it as it tries to get downwind/behind me. But it hears me and the whatever it is just burst through some more brush and heads off in easterly direction.
Now mind you I never saw a thing, I heard it, took a picture in the general area after it froze when I froze. The camera is a digital sony cyber shooter 2.1 mega pixels, 6x zoom, set to take pictures at 1600x1200 with fine resoultion. My jpegs are usually about a meg in size. There has been no enhancements what so-ever to this picture other than cropping it to 4x10" and then resize the picture to meet the 500k limit to post on this site. Some of you might see this right away, others might not see a thing. Regardless I would to know what you think. I am curious as to what the results are going to be. As I have the original 1600x1200 picture I can zoom in and I'm pretty sure what I am looking at. At worst, you get to see a picture from within the interior of the Bridgewater Tirange! So with out further ado, the picture!
Warlock
uhh, little help?

I only see trees.
Warlock
are you talking about Batman in silouette in the middle of the picture?
JayleeD
I see an area that looks, ummm, interesting. But, I'd like to see the zoomed in picture before passing judgement. Thanks.

Unless the batamn(tree broken off mid trunk) is on a diet, far to skinny to be batman. But I think it is a tree trunk. Or wolfman on the low carb diet.

Whatever that is it is some type of vine/leaf/foliage. In the attached image you can see the vine or limb connecting the larger brown mass to a smaller brown mass below it.

Batman, Wolfman, tree stumps, leaf formations... hehehe

and Sasquelvis, all I can say is WOW!!!!!
X out of the paint program and back away from the computer.... wink.gif Just Kidding!
You circled everything but the object.

I had mentioned the behavior of the animal above, this is typical of a whitetail deer when you are downwind of them and they get spooked. On occasions they'll even snort although I didn't hear any snorts this day. So based on this behavior pattern I assumed I had just jumped a deer. Now look at the the enlarged view of the picture. Do you think it's possible I got a picture of bambi well camoflaged, although you can see what appears to be ears, an eye, and the basic shape of a deers head, or is this all foilage? BTW this is a prime whitetail area that picture was taken in.
JayleeD
OH NO! It's Bambiblob! ohmy.gif

Just kiddin' ya there HH. I think it's very possible and very probable that you spooked a deer. smile.gif
RB
Hmmm... Bambi? No...

If it's a deer (unlikely), then it's a girl... not a boy... no hatrack...

Not unless she's standing on a ladder... while picking apples, perhaps...

How tall do they grow the deer back there? huh.gif
Blackdog
I still think its Batman. unsure.gif

I never said it was a buck. Deers also shed their antlers ever year, but as I mentioned it was August they should have grown back by then. right?

(Ooops, I called it bambi, I forgot, that's a boys name in the cartoon.) icon_bang.gif

As far as height goes, it looks like an average size doe to me for this area. probably 30" to 32" from hoof to front shoulder.

But then again, it could be just a clump of leaves. wink.gif

Sasquelvis
clearly a thunderbird....[SIZE=1]bottle

What ever it is. in the words of sir mixalot. "Baby got back."
No sexist remark to be gained from this but you can judge for yourself.
Look in the lower left area of the circle. Would the hip or pelvic region of a deer look like that when it jumps? I've never payed attention to a deer as it jumps to see how its hips flex.

I'm not editing this thing again so if I made another spelling error it will just have to stay.

It's the Bray Road Beast. new_whistle.gif

I'm really sorry I just could not resist.

It looks too skinny to be anything but a tree stump.

Just keep in mind that just because it is a blob doesn't mean it CAN'T be a Sasquatch.
RobUstes
OMG !! Its Batboy !!!!!!
yeti_research
i dont think there's anything in the photo but greenery. yeah-- it may have been (probably) a deer you spooked.

perhaps we should ask the residents of the "homeless village" off rt.24 near the BJ's if they've ever seen anything.
HockHunter
Yep, You guys are right, it couldn't possibly be a deer, (a doe). What was I thinking.
ToeToe
It looks skinny, like it could really move out...
