Fluffy Puff Marshmallow
Me and my buddy from the first enounter (we'll just call her L, it'll be easier that way biggrin.gif ) decided one warm summer night in 2002 to go look at the stars. It was about 2:30 AM and put on our shoes and grabbed a blanket.

We tip-toed outside and found a good spot next to a small apple tree and layed our blanket out. We sat there quietly laughing and cracking jokes. I then leaned over and said, "Just watch, we are gonna get all scared like we did that one night and run into the house!"

L and I laughed uncomfortably, and then went suddenly silent. We sat for a minute and my heart started to pound really hard. I had this overwhelming feeling of being watched.

I slowly turned my head around, and I saw the HUGEST thing crouching behind a fence pole like it was trying to hide. Since it was crouching, it was about about 4 feet tall. But the the thing I remember the most is how WIDE it was. It had really broad shoulders, and it was crouching about 5 inches from the ground. It had one hand supporting it, and the other on the fence pole.

At first, I was SO shocked I couldn't move. All I could do was look at it. I felt a combination of emotions. I wanted to scream, but I could hardly breathe. My eyes were really tearey and I thought I was going to throw-up.

When I gained some of my senses back, I remembered my friend. L was shaking, because she knew something was watching. I grabbed her arm, and quietly said, "L, stand up, DO NOT turn around, and walk into the house. Don't make a noise." We both stood up and attempted to run, but all we could get our legs to do was walk at a fast walk towards the house. Right before she went into the house she turned around and saw a huge man-like creature watching us.

We made it inside, locked the door behind us. We walked to the base of the stairs, where we both stopped and breathed sighs of both relief and fear. We didn't talk for the rest of the night, but we walked up the stairs and layed down on our beds quietly. After that point, I can't remember anything happening.

I saw more this time. I didn't get a color, but I saw the animal quite clearly. I am convinced it was once again Mr. B, because of the amount of sightings in the area, because of the size and because of our previous encounter.

Any thoughts? ph34r.gif

It's butt was about 5 inches from the ground. Meaning, it was crouching really low for who knows how long.

I'll try and get a photo of the spot to give all of you an idea how close this thing was to the girls. (I mean that! LOL)

Sheesh...I get chills whenever they talk about their experience. I can't imagine how they felt when it happened. new_weirdsmiley.gif

You know, these encounters seem very familiar, and I know I've seen Zog's avatar somewhere else on the net. I've also seen the picture of the girl by the tree before that is in the other thread. Is there a Zog family website that all this stuff is posted on? Or am I just crazy? unsure.gif

Nah, you're not crazy, maybe just wild, man. biggrin.gif

I posted the "girl-by-the-tree" image a few month's ago on the McBig forum (it was recently shifted over to a new server, I think - http://s3.invisionfree.com/MCBIG/index.php?showforum=8 , so it looks like the original post was at least misplaced/unavailable).

However, my user name there was "hatmaster".

The only other place I've used ZogTheFuzzy moniker and caveman-at-the-computer image is on my nephews' band site, http://www.amadon.us (I'm one of the moderators there). That I recall anyway. There might be somewhere else that I used it, but I doubt it.

Here's a link to an earlier thread that gives you a little more information on some of my postings at McBig:

http://www.bigfootforums.com/index.php?sho...=0&#entry106905

In that thread, I explain (confess? new_blushsmiley.gif ) that on one of my posts, I jumped to a stupid conclusion based on some markings on a tree the girls were telling me about - Thread title: What NOT to do!. Part of my eagerness to "see what I wanted to see" was because some of the other experiences the girls had...also, there are 3 other witnesses who have seen BF at this place (counting the two boys in Fluffy Puff Marshmallow's first encounter posting ( http://www.bigfootforums.com/index.php?showtopic=5478 ), and one other, NojTheKindOfFuzzyOne, who has heard vocalizations on the property where the "girl by tree" picture came from).

Hope that answers your question! smile.gif

I'm going next week:-P How's that?

Interesting encounter! Usually when I get really scared, I get all protective and im a little over alerted. Theres been times when I felt like I was being watched and I just take off, or raise my fists. Im a little silly doing that though. Well good luck with the next star grazing trip, and hopefully its not as freaky as the last one.

Well, practice running away and clicking over your shoulder, then! We would'nt want you to stop and get caught!

Seriously, I've heard that BF may be attracted to children and women. They're just curious. So perhaps the encounters you've had may be do to this. Be careful, anyway. Zog better sharpen his best spear for ya!

Your story sounds like a child's fears who had gotten the best of them. Did you see any tracks or hair samples the following day? Did you smell an odd odor in the precense of this creature? good story but it lacks to many specifics for me to actually believe you encountered a sasquatch. sorry, I mean no harm.

I understand where you're coming from.

You see, I thought so too. I didn't think it could've been the big man either- at that time, I didn't even believe in a big foot. It wasn't till a couple months later that I was convinced it was a big foot. I thought it could've been a bear, but then I realized only circus bears can be bipedal:) And even then, they only walk on their two feet every once and a while and for short periods of time.

I did smell the stench, in fact, I smelled for a great deal of the summer. It wasn't continous, but I smelled it off and on. It smelled like something had been rolling around in dead cows. We looked for some sort of tracks but we didn't see any. I am assuming this was because it was EXTEREMELY dry outside, and their wouldn't have been any prints.

But you also have to take under consideration that at the time, I was much younger and I was scared like crap. I wasn't go waltzing around looking for "big foot" evidence when I didn't even believe in one. All I knew is that their was a BIG man watching me. It was almost like the movie "The Green Mile." That's how big he was.

The next day, L was walking toward the barn to feed her rabbits. All of the sudden there was a slamming noise that sounded like a car slamming into the barn doors. There was no one there, but there was a HUGE dent in the door. She ran inside and burst into tears. I had to sit her down and she cried for about 15 minutes before she could even tell me what happened. When I went outside, sure enough, there was a huge dent in the door. We saw no physical evidence of anything being there, aside from a door that looked like it had been kicked harder than any person we knew could have done.

In October of that year, L's grandma went outside at night to go turn the sprinkler on and she smelled a really bad smell. She looked over to the apple tree by her kitchen window and said she saw what she said looked like a GIANT man trying to get apples off of the tree. At the time, she was more confused than scared.

I have also heard the familiar whooping hundreds of times I've I began going to their house at age 8. I've always heard it, and turned L and said "Gee whiz! You guy's have the LOUDEST birds over here!" It wasn't till Papa Zog showed me a clip of whooping till I recognized what it was.

It seems to me the only evidence I am lacking now is a footprint, but I am working on that one right now.

This post is really frusterating to me, because there is not a day goes by that I don't doubt what I saw. I am intelligent, and I don't "see things". There are constantly people who don't believe a word I am saying and that makes me doubt myself. I am constantly hearing, "You are young, you don't know what your talking about." But, even if this doesn't help you at all, *I* know what I saw.

I am already feeling inferior to this group because of my age and experience. If there is anything I can do to convince you of what I saw let me know. Ask me any question and I can give the details.

Yes, I know:) We are going to take several precautions. Thank you for your concern. Papa Zog has helped us decide what measures of defense we are going to use.

Oh, and by the way, below are pictures of the door.

Papa Zog says sorry about the pictures. They are fuzzy, and one of them is refusing to work right now.

Hey Fluffy Puff, biggrin.gif I've been away for a week or so and just found your encounters. Just wanted to say thanks for sharing. You sure can learn a lot by examining your experiences. Hopefully, others will be able to add suggestions that you hadnt thought of. wink.gif

If I may ask, are there any vocals that you think may be BF related? If so, is it possible to describe them?

Thanks bunches! biggrin.gif

The Year was 1981. Backpacking In the Sierra's for 2 weeks on the John Muir Trail. I don't fear nothing out in the wilderness but my two friends did one summer night. I remember walking
up to a lake near Lone Indian. I don't quite recall the name but all there was a little stream about
400 feet up some switch backs and as we approach the campsite the trail was getting narrow and pretty soon the only open spot was the campsite that had none of the usual scatter that people leave behind well the first thing we did was set up the tent and when night time came something Big Was Breaking Branch's about 25-30 feet from us. Well I had no idea what it could have been
but the other two I was with were ready to run from the campsite. None of us ever discussed what it could have been I slept the whole night and by the time the sun came up we left and as we left
this animal whatever it was followed us for about one mile all I could remember was the sound of it making it's way thru the brush cause when we stopped it stopped. We Could not see it. Now that I think back about it I don't think it was a bear or deer cause they are timid and scared of humans.
I can't understand why people are afraid of seeing a Sasquatch. That's why I doubt most who have said they have seen one or two because what's there to be scared of. If I ever see one I would follow it. If it ever came at me I'd play dead just like if a bear where too came at me.That's why the public don't believe. If I seen one what would I care what people would say. Im new here Im fascinated by the mystery of BigFoot. Hopefully I will see the beast one night. If it does exist.

I envy you. Some people just don't scare easily, and I admire that.

As for me, actually seeing one would be freaky but fascinating. I'm not exactly sure how I would react now compared to just a couple of years ago, being that I know a lot more about BF than I used to. They appear to be territorial but generally gentle in nature.

I suppose I'd be much more scientifically inclined about the whole experience, you know, try to remember details and to try to keep my head, try to keep the camera steady (if I had one), collect evidence, etc. However, the bugger's 7-8 feet tall with beady red eyes, wider than any linebacker, smells like a pile of rotting carcasses and could probably plink off one of my arms as easily as a child could plink off a grape from a bunch. Deep down I feel, even if I kept my head and perform well under such circumstances, I'd have to change clothes afterwards.
