The trouble with message boards - topic boards, whatever you call these sites - is they're so filled in with garbage comments and responses to posts (I just did one myself), that you can barely make your way to the useful stuff.

None of us can help ourselves; we all think we're just so cute we have to show one another: "Look at me!" Like up on the top of the main page, that special post to Greg Long, which specifically asks everyone to hold their responses... No way, can't do it.

I'm going to think about that next time I feel just too cute to be ignored. You all should, too.

You can blame me for that, I suppose. I could have run this place like a camp and slapped all the off topic posters, but I like to think this forum is like a really big kitchen table where we're all just sitting around chatting over coffee (or your caffeinated beverage of choice). Sometimes it's serious, sometimes it's not.

And besides, when you're married with a couple of kids, you take any chance you can get to look cute!

IML, I see your point which is good asking people to think about what they post but what's far worse is people who come out on websites, open up their own websites, claim they are BF experts or write books making totally outrageous claims that they have proof, evidence, photos, videos etc. They change stories which turn into more lies & when you catch them in these lies & tall stories that they can never backup, prove or show any evidence of, they turn to "well we don't have to prove anything". I say they are right, they don't have to prove anything because when you claim you have proof, but in reality you don't, then you got nothin' to show in the first place. I said what I had to say & now I have to excuse myself, I think I just had an accident in my Depends.
