Cool show on ArtistFirst last night, so I wanted to start a list of any BF museums that everyone might know of. Past or present. Here's my start:

Willow Creek (Willow Creek, CA ...of course)

The Bigfoot Discovery Project (Felton, CA)

Bigfoot Mystery Museum (Seatle, WA. May no longer exist. Don't know.)

There's no such BMM in the Seattle phone book. I think it's long gone.

Mike is going to have an exhibit about the Bigfoot museum in Seattle.
It was open from 1976 - 1980, according to him. And he has acquired several items from them that he will display at the Bigfoot Discovery Project.

In all fairness to the Bigfoot Discovery Project,
this website is VERY MUCH under construction. Just the home page comes up! smile.gif

(in fact, I will be posting this elsewhere, but Mike is in need of someone in the Santa Cruz area to help him with some of the web pages. He is currently working with a local person but it is not really progressing as he had hoped. He has ideas for some flash animation and moving files --- I have no clue, obviously! -- and would like to work side-by-side with someone to see these through. If you know of anyone in that area who has that talent, please email or PM me and I'll give you Mike's contact info. THANKS!)

When is someone going to open a Bigfoot museum on the east coast? You guys out west have some of the best Bigfoot habitat areas to search PLUS you have all the damn Bigfoot museums too!!!

You lucky S.O.B.'s!!! wink.gif

Sounds like someone in Pennsylvania or Ohio or one of the Carolinas...etc....(name your favorite Eastern state....) has a prime opportunity...
I know the ONLY one I knew of since 2000 has been the Willow Creek museum.
(and, yeah, once you've made it ALL THE WAY THERE, you get to see the casts from the P/G film event, the Jerry Crew 1958 cast and others......! WOW! seeing them really moved me to attend the symposium and get out camping now and then...)

and anyone considering an Eastern U.S. venture, I'm sure you'd be a "sister" museum to Willow Creek and Felton.....seems to be a good bit of "sharing and supporting" going on! thumbup.gif

Now, I've heard of some museums in the LA area and Santa Barbara in the '80's....anybody ever go to one of these?

How is Loren Coleman's Maine based Crypto museum going? I'd heard it was open by appointment, but not open to the public yet. He's got some cool stuff there- rubber "stunt" frogs from "Magnolia", a replica stuffed coelacanth, and a full size Pteranodon from the show "Freaky Links", etc.
