If a Sasquatch got Rabies, would that explain some of the Scary Bigfeet stories out there?

Also, how does Sas deal with Parasites like Flees, and Ticks?

I asked about this awhile ago at another Bigfoot forum and the overall concensus was that Bigfoot was too intelligent to get rabies.It would know enough to stay away from rabid animals.

Then that means that he is smarter then a lot of people who have been afflicted with rabies! Do these people think that rabies is something that can be smelled? One would say that humans are smart enough not to go near rabid animals! But....
