Guys,

the review copy landed on my desk this morning - it is going to take some effort to wade through it - it cerainly looks interesting.

The review is going to be in stages, but before I get started, I thought I would share this with you.

We're NOT talking about the guy in the fez?

You are absolutly correct. It is clear to see which of the picture's subjects is the more intelligent for the very reason you mentioned. Obviously the shorter of the two is enticing the taller subject with the fruit. From the suptified expression of the taller creature it is clear that this is more then likely an ape in a human costume!
My new Agent Mr. Karl K. Korff will now conduct the rest of the seminar....

Paul, I'll certainly be looking forward to your future posts about the book, and any more pictures from it you might post. The picture above does little to help their case! I think if i'd been them i would've swept that thing under the rug instead of including it in the book.

I don't want to be accused of picking and choosing bits from the book, but recently, there has been some talk about the difference between the suits Morris and Heironimous described, so here is what Greg Long had to say about it having talked to Morris:

QUOTE
"After our good-byes, I sat back and rubbed my eyes.  I could see that I might be still typing when the sun came up.  Well, Bob Heironimus's belief, which he had expressed in one of our interviews, that he thought Roger had skinned a dead, red horse and made the bigfoot suit himself was false. But that was okay"

Sorry Greg, but that is not okay - you have just said that your suit man has told you something that you do not believe to be true - why then, as an 'investigator' do you believe everything else Heironimous told you ?

Anyway, I need to start at the beginning with this book - I'll see you guys in a day or two.

You know, I am not sure but what this book might result in MORE positive and serious attention being paid to to the PG film.
Any scrutiny at all should result in an appreciation of how unique the film really is. Especially when it is put up against the almost farcical nature of the "evidence" debunking it.

WHAT?!?!?

That suit is not even CLOSE! wacko.gif

Maybe that's what happened on the Rense program last night.. Rense finally got his copy of the book.. seen that pic and thought he'd better dump them to save face!

Is there by any chance a picture of this Bob Hieronimus in the book too? While in the chat room last night I was checking online to see if I could come up with any information on Hieronimus and found something from 1996, but it was dealing with Korff and a Bob Hieronimus who is a talk show host in Maryland. I searched here and seen a few of you had already caught the Maryland Hieronimus. I thought it strange that Korff had known not only 2 people with the last name of Hieronimus, but both with the same first name too. I know a lot of people, and have yet to run into anyone with the last name of Hieronimus. When I did the search, there are only 2 web sites dealing with that name, that are in English and they deal with both of the persons that know Korff. It also seems that Hieronimus is a first name, and not a surname, at least not a common one.

When Ray Wallace bragged about knowing all about the Patterson-Gimlin Film, he said he knew who was in the suit and claimed it was a big Indian from Yakima Wa. I was curious if this Mr. Hieronimus is in fact an American Indian.

I am going over to the local trophy making shop, (Gerhardts), and I am going to have them make two custom "ASSCLOWN" trophies, one for Mr. Long and one for Mr. Korff!! I am then going to have them shipped to Long and Korff!! Even though
this is gonna cost me more than the book would have, this is well deserved by the

Very astute point. I'm not sure how many book sales it takes to begin making a 'profit' e.g. cash in Long/Korff's pocket, but if there is a 'god' then MAYBE that threshold won't be met AND the 'public consensus' will in fact sway towards the 'reality' of the film. An increase in public scrutiny of the film itself (provided it gets shown repeatedly and publicly) would surely make some/many question the debunkers' version of it's un-authenticity. Wouldn't that be a big pimple on the collective butt of Long/Korff! By the way, seems to me this might be a GOOD time for the producers of S:LMS to nationally 'advertise' for sale their DVD of the show. Hmmmmm... ohmy.gif

And to think that the suit in the picture that was made for T.V. would most likely be a "deluxe" model as compared to one made for a rodeo clown.

Now I hope more than ever that these dudes try to recreate the Patty footage with B.H. in that god-awful, cheesy gorilla costume. Maybe Fox TV would be interested in televising the great moment, when the whole nation gets to see the Patterson film EXPOSED.

It would be --- surreal.

I'm about 1/3 of the ay through this book - I will get it finished by the weekend.

So far, no depositions (as promised by Kal Korff) - just highly edited 'interviews' that normally contain little snippets of what long was thinking like "Wow, thats incredible".

Even the map at the beginning of the book contains phrases like "Patterson tresspassed here".

What really got to me in the first few chapters was Greg Long's constant referral to Patterson as 'the little man' or 'the puny little man'.

Now, Greg Long is a big guy (6'8") - that does not give him the right to ridicule someone's size.

We have already had one interviewee claim that the PGF was made in Yakima WA. - why I wonder did Long not believe that statement ?

Anyway 1/3 of the way through, and not a single 'fact' so far.

When I saw that picture I laughed to myself. I thought Paul was having a joke at the author's expense.

...then I scrolled down and saw that it was a scan from the actual book. They. Have. Got. To. Be. Kidding !

<conspiracy theory>

Maybe Long and Korf and whoever else are actually pro-patty, and this book is like a reverse-psychology tactic to demonstrate just how good that film is...

From what i've seen and read about the book so far, i'd have to say the "little man" is standing tall while the "big man" is coming up short. I'm still hoping to see a re-creation on film though. You know, if the thing is a hoax, there's got to be people still living that know the truth. Patterson had to have help and it's hard to believe that everyone would keep the secret for almost 40 years now. Perhaps the people that know the truth have stepped forward...perhaps these men aren't lying. If they are lying, perhaps the real people involved with Patterson will step up to expose them. Someone might have a picture of Roger shaking patty's hand while the guy that made the suit stands smiling behind them. If these guys fail to prove what they're saying with a re-creation, and all this new media attention to the film doesn't bring out anyone with new infomation soon, for the first time since i was a kid i may be watching the Patterson film and actually believing that thing is real!

Paul when you finish do not forget to put a review on Amazon to help other people decide on purchasing the book.

GORILLA SUIT FROM PATTERSON-GIMLIN FILM FOUND!!!

Join us Friday night as Geraldo Rivera and his camera crew answer the question. We are currently flying in experts from all over the world to help us get the rusted zipper unstuck. It's so corroded it may even take longer than the 2 hours we've alloted to this program. Don't worry, we won't leave even if it takes a week, until the zipper is undone, to reveal once and for all, WHO IS INSIDE!
the beaver
The exact same type of gorilla suit Roger Patterson bought from Philip Morris in or about august 1967.

Hummm, feel's to me like i could just grab this gorilla guy and pull him right through those 12 inch jail bars?

Another thing, how do they get Patty's skin to stick so close to her body wihtout having some sort of an air suppression valve and having the "suppoesd suit in three seperate stages" where air can come trought and out? Maybe a full horse hide would answer this...you be the judge?

Ohh boy new_lmaosmiley.gif

Here we go again lollllllll

If these guys really did make a suit capable of all this (remember, it was 1967) and then lost track of it -- they're dumber than we thought.

Daniel, how true is it that Ray Crowe is actually inviting Greg Long to his annual get-together? That would be like a diver inviting a great white shark into his cage! That's just asking for trouble. Has Ray gone around the bend? I used to correspond with ray in the mid-'90's, and he was always a strong proponent of the Patterson-Gimlin film. I'm very confused about all this.

Here's a present day Morris Costumes gorilla suit. By the way, it strikes me that Morris has a possible financial stake in making his claim. If his product fools the experts, then it's certainly good enough for little Joey's party...or whatever.
