i just wanted to ask does anyone know if smokey has done anything new if so please let me know ive see a few of the movies hes been in like the hunt for bigfoot and the legend of boggey creek also i heard he wrote a book im not sure of this but if so does anyone know where to get a copy thanks guys and good hunting
Smokey's 3rd book has just been released, you can purchase it, along with his other 2 books at his website, Smokey and the Fouke Monster.
I just got off the phone with Ms. Melva Crabtree. She is an absolute doll. I ordered all three of Smokey's books and plan to make a trip there in the next few weeks for a visit. She told me that Smokey will soon be 77 years old, and I want to meet him and visit a while. These are some great people.

Smokey is a real nice guy but just a note about his books. They deal more with Smokey's life than bigfoot so if you are a died in the wool bigfoot fan you might be a little dissapointed.
Well, the reason I want Smokey's books is more for the history than anything else. I mean, who else in this area (mine) has spent 77 years on this planet and recorded what they have seen and done? Not too many writers around here pushing publications.
I just got the books! Ordered them just yesterday. Smokey was kind enough to personalize each one to me, send along a bookmark and an invitation to visit. What a guy!

Smokey Crabtree is my step-dad, and his books are really good. I have all three. If you can ever get out to Fouke, Ark., and visit with Smokey, you'll love every minute. He's a hoot.
He also has a cd out of a song by Red Lane, called "The legend of Smokey Crabtree", and Smokey himself tells different stories of his life on it.

hey motomike good evening yes i totaly agree with above reply smokey crabtree is a very great man ive talked to him on the phone & through email about boggy creek & the fouke monster. sorry to hear of the passing of melva crabtree. yes smokey does a have informative website about fouke monster. i got his first book smokey & the fouke monster signed by smokey crabtree. welcome to bff trust me you will like it here. please keep in touch ok. thanks bill :smile: :bf:

hey everyone jayleed i got smokey s first book smokey & fouke monster personaly autographed. i do need his 2 other books. yes i too have talked smokey over the phone & email over the years smokey is a very nice person & researcher etc. hey has a AWESOME website & a wonderful online store with great fouke monster stuff that i wish i could buy. i got the smokey & fouke monster t-shirt. please keep me & everyone posted ok. good evening. bill

Terry, I'm sorry to say that no I haven't gone for a visit with Smokey. I'm the worst person for letting life get in the way of things I want to do. *sigh*
Glad to see that Smokey is still getting people to write and see him. If you get to ever visit Smokey's shop, ask if he will allow you to see the remains of a creature that they found. It was crossed dna checked with animal and human, and does not match with anything. It's really a sight. I should know, he's shown it to me. He's been a great step-father, even after my mom passed away 2 years ago.
Has anyone gotten his cd yet? He talls some of his life and he really worked hard on it. It's gotten a song, "The Legend of Smokey Crabtree" by Red Lane. I enjoy listening to it at times.

Thanks, my family and I try to get out that way at times, tho we live 10 hrs away, so trips are few and far between. I'm not too sure, but we are goint to try and get out that way for a family reunion next year.
I sure miss her, and the trips her and Smokey made every October to my home.
