Paul's UK web site is, as he states, www.bigfootresearch.com.

I finally went there and came back properly impressed. I love it and I'm going back on a regular basis. YOU GO PAUL! Let's hear it from the UK! (Sound of hands clapping....) 8) biggrin.gif

Yeah, I like Paul's site very much. Especially the link right on the homepage to the BFF! Of course, now it says he starting his own forum. Everybody's got to have their own forum nowadays...

Don't worry Bipto - I changed my mind about the forum when I found BFF !

I couldn't do any better than this, so there is no point in bothering.

I was just giving you a hard time. I think the idea of having a European-based discussion is interesting. Of course, what with the web being world-wide and all, there could be more Europeans on this site I suppose. What is the general interest level in bigfoot in England and on the continent?
Paul1968UK
Probably 'slightly more than zero' !

There are a handful of die hrd enthusiasts and beleivers, but the rest of the believers fall into the following categories

1) I believe, but don't know why
2) I believe, and I also believe in aliens, noah's ark, ley lines, majestic 12 and men in black.
3) I kinda believe, but so what !

You can include me out, Bipto. I have no, repeat NO desire to start my own forum. My E-mail is my message board, LOL. laugh.gif biggrin.gif icon_razz.gif

Paul, ley lines are something that I've been interested in for quite some time. You wouldn't happen to know of any serious sites in the UK that address the subject, would you?

I figure if the moon can influence the rise and fall of the oceans, then ley lines might not be that far out in left field.

Pardon my ignorance. Ley lines?

(Frankly I'm too lazy to do a Google search right now...)

Thanks Bipto, I was afraid to ask! icon_razz.gif laugh.gif

Researchers have found 'energy' lines that run in straight lines up and down the country - technically, they are magnetic fault lines in the earths tectonic plates.

I'm not too well up on this, but I believe a lot of them have been found by 'dowsing'.

Interestingly, when you superimpose many of these lines onto ariel photographs, they nearly always go through ancient landmarks like churches, crossroads etc.

If you plot all the known ley lines onto a map of britain, you find that they go through all the towns with names like 'brent' & 'burnt', (brent is an old English word for fire) - all these towns have had serious fires throughout history.

Paul Deveraux is the only serious researcher that I know of - if you are interested in the subject, it would be worth throwing his name into the search engine.

Paul Deveraux also researches 'faery routes', which are absolutley fascinating, but worthy of a completely different thread if anyone is interested.
