Rebuttal To Patterson Bigfoot
Hoax Claim Due On Monday

For Immediate Release
3-8-4

On Monday evening, March 1st, listeners to the Jeff Rense Program heard startling news that the famous Roger Patterson-Bob Gimlin film of a female bigfoot taken in 1967 has been proved a fraud. Bob Kiviat, Kal Korff, Greg Long, and Bob Heironimous were interviewed and offered a litany of "proofs" they claim support their accusation of fraud in the filming process. In support of their assertions, they named a man who claims to have made the 'gorilla suit' that was used, and Bob Heironimous, himself, stated he was the man IN the suit.

These claims are little short of miraculous inasmuch as virtually no serious researcher in the field of bigfoot lore doubts that the film is genuine. Thus, on Monday evening, March 8th, listeners to Jeff's program will hear from a representative group of those researchers giving evidence and expertise to support the validity of the film, as well as other input that might cast a more reflective light on the true intentions of Messrs. Kiviat, Korff, Long, and Heironimous.

Appearing on the rebuttal program will be widely respected cryptozoologist Loren Coleman, author of "Bigfoot: The True Story Of Apes In America." Loren will give his analysis and interpretation of what was said and implied in the previous week's show, focusing on the film itself rather than the personalities involved. Likewise, M.K Davis will bring to the discussion a highly technical analysis of the film based on techniques he learned as an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer. M.K.'s "motion" analysis of the thigh and buttock of the creature in the film are powerfully convicing evidence that the film is absolutely genuine.

Like Loren Coleman, Daniel Perez is a widely-respected investigator in the field of bigfoot research. He is the author of perhaps the definitive study of the Patterson-Gimlin film, "Bigfoot At Bluff Creek," as well as the author of "Bigfoot Times," a montly newsletter dedicated to keeping abreast of all developments in bigfoot research. He will bring a vast store of knowledge and credibility to his discussion of the film's validity.

Lloyd Pye is the fourth researcher scheduled to appear. He is the author of "Everything You Know Is Wrong," and his expertise is directed more toward where bigfoot fits into the larger picture than what occurred at Bluff Creek in 1967. However, like any other serious student of bigfoot lore, he is well aware of the pros and cons of what did and didn't happen on that day, and he has made his feelings clear in his book. Lloyd will act as a moderator to bring each guest onto the show, as well as offering occasional insights along the way. Two other surprise guests will contribute information
about the original film as well.

It would have been a bit more accurate to say that listeners heard startling accusations rather than 'news'.

Let's just hope EB, telling about how the creature can't be a hoax because,
there is a teenage bigfoot riding on Patty's back, and because she has a vulva!!,
or MG telling the soap opera of HOW THE SASQUATCH TURNS, staring Fox, and
company!!, are any of the surprises, That would be the last thing we need!!!

Last week Jeff Rense's website had the following to say about the upcoming show (with Korff, Kivait, Long, and Hieronimous)...
Says host Jeff Rense,
QUOTE
The Patterson film is considered by many to be the single, greatest piece of hard evidence for the reality of a Bigfoot-like creature. On March 1, 2004, this particular, historic piece of evidence is promised to be laid to rest.
It is critically-important to expose fraudulent cases whenever possible. Not only will the man who reportedly wore the costume give his testimony but a number of other revelations are promised as well, including learning the identity of the man who allegedly made and sold the costume to Patterson for the film. This program promises to be a blockbuster.

This week, Rense's website has this to say about tonight's show...

Who do you think Rense is supporting?
tugboatwa
Having only vaguely been famaliar with the name Lloyd Pye,I did a Google search and found...

QUOTE
Lloyd Pye is an author, researcher, and lecturer in the field of alternative knowledge. He calls on over 30 years of experience as he writes and speaks about the origins of life, human origins, hominoids (bigfoot, sasquatch and others), and the work of Zecharia Sitchin. This broad base of knowledge has made him one of the world's leading proponents of the "Interventionist" theory of origins, which stands in contrast to Darwinsim, Creationism, and Intelligent Design.

Unfortunitly I will have to hear the archived version tomorrow....gosh darn in-laws are visiting..but first I will read tug's notes.
Susan
Tug, will you be posting your notes here? Or starting a new topic?

Forgive me, I missed some of MK's talk, what the heck is image 8 supposed to be of?
tarran
I was very impressed with MK and Danny!! Especially, when Danny said lets get right to the point, these men are claiming it was Mr. Heironimous in a costume,
and then challenged them to duplicate everything!! WAY TO GO DANNY!!
new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif
And mk's pictures and animated pics are very compelling!! They show muscles
contracting and relaxing when patty walks and moves!! I'll tell you one thing,
if Mr. Heironimous was built like that, then why would he have to hoax something
for money?? He could have easily made a living in body building!! This won't be
very hard to disprove, just show us a picture of you in 67 Bob, and we'll let the
specialists compare your build to the build on Patty!! blink.gif blink.gif

Oh, and please get back to us Mr. Korff, on Danny Perez's and the BFRO's
challenge to recreate the footage!! Oh thats right, you and your stooges don't
have to prove anything, it's all in the book!! HOW RIDICULOUS!!

Susan:

I posted them under another topic - Jeff Rense program..., March 8..., but if you think I should merge them into this one - I'll do it.

Another question - should I split off the images I put on here into a seperate topic... that wouldl make this thread load faster.
damndirtyape
I am still receiving some last minute images people wanted to include in their presentations. Finale touches now.
The Madness
Yeah Tug- a seperate post for the images would be great smile.gif

Geez, figures all the good stuff happens when I fall asleep- heard some of Coleman, but couldn't stay awake. At least it's archived smile.gif Sounds like it was excellent!

Did anyone catch the exchange between Coleman and Pye close to the end of Coleman's segment. Pye made a comment, and Coleman replied with "Don't put words in my mouth!" dry.gif

My telephone rang about that time and I missed the statement Pye made.

Yeah , I noticed it Jaylee!! It seemed to me Coleman really didn't do or say anything to help support the film's authenticity, and in my opinion, having him on the rebuttle show was a waste, because he didn't rebutt anything, from Kal & company!! Although he did state "they need to recreate the suit and the film".
He also made a good point about investigating Mr. Heironimous's credibility!!
I can understand Mr. Coleman wanting to remain objective, however, this was
supposed to be in response to the claims made on the radio the week before, and if Mr. Coleman did not want to respond until he has a chance to read the book,
then he should not have been on the show!! The time on the show that he wasted,
could have been more beneficial, by giving more time to Mr. Perez, and Mr. Davis
to respond!! In my opinion,Mr. Davis and Mr. Perez did an excellent presentation,
and a very good job!! They should be commended!! thumbup.gif thumbup.gif
Also, I liked the fact that Mr. Perez, began his presentation by stating that Mr. Gimlin flatly denies the allegations made by the stooges, and he, Green, and
Roger Patterson's widow have been consulting with an attorney!! Looks like
Mr. Korff and company may get their wish of being sued after all!!!
BETTER BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR, MR. KORFF!!!

I've moved the jpegs over to that thread, and I've merged my notes from last nights show into the thread.

Hope that makes it easier for everyone.

LLoyd Pye...hmmmm. He's the guy who was on a local radio station several years ago promoting his new book about humans coming from Planet X. This guy was on the panel of experts last night? icon_really_happy_guy.gif You guys want to criticise Korff and Long for their assertion and ploy to sell a book? Surely you jest.

So you don't consider Loren Coleman nor M.K. Davis experts on the subject and analysis of Bigfoot? If not than a lot of you sure put a lot of faith on non-expert opinion.

As one honorable Bigfoot researcher put it, "only those who are not objective will have a problem if the Patterson film is exposed. If it is a hoax, it does NOT mean Bigfoot ddoesn't exist."

Just eight days later, Korff is quoted in the Yakima Herald-Republic...
QUOTE
Korff, for one, believes the controversy over the existence of Bigfoot will be put to rest soon. It will all come to light, he said, when author Long, Heironimus and several other people — including the man who claims he made the gorilla suit — tell their account on a national television special.

"This is a huge story" Korff said. "And the Bigfoot market is now dead."

So, Korff - which is it? Which do you believe?
