I am halfway through reading my review copy - I'll let you guys know what I think when I have finished, bt in the meantime....

They say you shouldn't judga ea book by its cover, but the cover of this book has a bigfoot in the foreground holding a stone with hiroglyphics on in.

In the background, several bigfoot are watching a further bigfoot getting 'beamed up' in a beam of light eminating from a glowing sphere.

Each new chapter starts with a picture of an alien standing in front of a pyramid !


You can draw your own conclusions.

I am going to have to get it just because the story is based not far at all from me here in Michigan!
Besides, as a fan of Sci-fi, and alternative history, it may be interesting on those levels.
From a realism standpoint, I think Paul nailed it..from what I have seen/read, it's out in the fring hinterlands someplace...

I have to say, Paul, you have a stronger stomach than i do for wading through some of these books.

I am going to get the book,just to feed my curiosity and also since I live in michigan,why not

EDIT:Maybe I won't get the book,on there website it says it is fiction,I thought it was something that was actually investigated...

What can I say - I get them for free from the publishers, so I do have a responsibilty to actually read them.

I shall do the same when Mr. Long's book arrives on my doormat later this month.
