Can't wait to see it. It's been a long time since ive seen the Patterson footage and from what I understand they inhance it some way in this documentory?

I have also never seen the memorial day footage. Ive seen the freeman footage and I do not believe it is authentic (just my unprofessional opinion).

Who here has seen it and is it worth the $30?

Thanks for you input.

Hi Heavyg smile.gif

If you do a search on the forum, you will find several threads on this most excellent documentary. It is by far the best out there. I only wish it could have been 3 hours longer! happy.gif Well worth the $30 IMO.
Hope you enjoy it wink.gif

I agree that particular documentary is the best ever on BF. I've seen it at least 4 times and am itching to see it again. The Patterson footage examination was very intriguing. You'll love the DVD.

It's a must for any BF enthusiast. I bought it for my son for his 16th birthday and we watched it repeatedly. thumbup.gif

Got the video today. Just finished watching it. A little dissapointed in the length..lol.....love now having the Patterson footage to watch over and over.

Freeman footage= GARGAGE IMO. I am not an expert in any field need to determain its authenticity (sp) but it just looks hokie to me.

Memorial Day footage: This one is more intreging. However they proved that the BF in the video was not actually running very fast and was only 5'3". But all that can mean is it was an adolesant BF which would explain why he was running in an OPEN field.

What are some of your opinions on each film?

I was great! One of the best documentaries to date on the subject!

The only inaccuracy I found with it (considering my limited knowledge on the subject) was when the narrator when talking about the track star used to simulate the BF's run across the hill side; he stated that the guy was from Washington St. U., when he clearly had a University of Washington Track shirt on. icon_bang.gif

No big deal, but down here (the southeast) he could get shot for that kind of slip up new_stun.gif (darn near blasphemy).... UGA vs. Ga. Tech, Alabama vs. Auburn, North Carolina vs. Duke, blah, blah, blah..... new_cowboy.gif icon_really_happy_guy.gif

I just received my LMS DVD, and I must say that I was floored. I had seen bits of the show before, but this is my first viewing of the entire program. Wow. Very well done, and extremely informative. I only wish that we could have seen more examination of the Freeman video. To me, it looks bogus for the most part. But there is something about the dimensions of the creature and the fur that make me reluctant to flat out call it a hoax. I would have rather had a closer examination of this than the Memorial Day footage, which to me looks exactly like a guy in a gorilla suit running. The only thing that made me think was the creature's unexplained growth spurt at the end of the footage.

The Patterson film still rocks, though. Everytime I see it, I am more convinced. But the most convincing evidence for me is the testimonials of the experts. For these professionals to even hint at the possibilty of the existence of a sasquatch could be career suicide, yet here they saying just that and more. I am really impressed by Jimmy Chillcut's (sp?) statements. As a crime scene investigator, his testimony in a court of law can put a person in jail, or even to death. His credibilty must be intact, and to just come flat out and say that there definitely is an unknown primate living in America could definitely cause others in his profession and in law enforcement in general to have doubts about his skills. That impressed me, big time.

I'm going to have to watch it all again soon. I'm very happy with this DVD. new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Justin:

Trust me when I tell you... GET the DVD!

It has a digitally-enhanced copy of the Patterson/Gimlin, shown in it's entirety... first in full-frame then in 200% format... then many looped sequences are shown of different sections of the P/G footage.

Then there is the Memorial Day footage... the Freeman footage...

Just get the DVD!

I have watched the Memorial Day footage over and over. Using the extra stuff on the DVD. I dont have a way to inhance it. but the part at the end you were talking about "the growth spert". On the DVD they say "Possible lifting of an infant BF". I have too dissagree. To me after watching in as I said over and over. It looks to me like the guy thought he was out of camera shot and raised the mask up on top of his head to cool down or something. The freeman footage also looks completely bogus to me. The only footage or photo immages I have seen that do not look bogus comes from the Patterson film. It's sad that after 30+ yrs that is the only good evidence we have on film.
