Hi,

I wonder why there hasn't been many Bigfoot sightings in Delaware. There has been plenty in Maryland... We all know that Bigfoot likes to travel area to area now and than, and Maryland isn't too fart away from Delaware at all.

Anyway,
I live in Delaware and my Dad owns a lot of farm land here... We have a lot of wooded areas on the land... But some parts aren't that deep, only a few... I have my eye out to let you all know. I might get some infared binochular because our house in right in the middle of two big farms with a lot of wooded areas. I could easily sit on the roof of my house and listen for noises and movement since my house is actually in front of a wooded area. I estimate that my house is 150 yards away from the land on the right side of my house, and the land on the left when it meets "woods" is about 240 yards away.

Do you think I should get some kind of binochulars that can see in the dark?

You apparently were as perplexed as I was when I went to the BFRO site last June to see if there were any previous sightings in the area where my son and I had ours. Prior to posting our Sussex County sighting there were none in the BFRO database for Delaware.
Our sighting is at:
http://www.bfro.net/GDB/show_report.asp?id=6470

To better pinpoint the area for you, we returned to the area during daylight and took an odometer reading from Route 1/Route 404 intersection westbound. There are two virtually identical wooded areas on both sides of Route 404 where it intersects with Gravel Hill Road. The first wooded area is 7.1 miles and the second 8.2 miles from the intersection of Route 1/Route 404. These are the only two wooded areas that have a curve in the road, so it had to be one or the other.

The BFF thread is here:

In the BFF thread above, RobUstes included some additional information about other sightings in Delaware. Check it out.
What county are you in?? Are you familiar with Route 404 segment from Maryland/Delaware border to Cape Henlopen??
