My two nieces, age 7 and 9, and my nephew age 12 stayed at my house Saturday night. They kept bugging me to let them watch a scary movie. I thought to myself that I would show the little boogers and put Legend of Boggy Creek in the DVD player. They were bored out of their minds and kept saying "this isn't scary".
I think it's all what you grow up with. It has to be blood and guts for these kids to get the creeps.

I don't necessarily mean scary or scarier than the movies or documentries
made nowdays. Though i did find the older movies and docs scary,
i also found them to be better made. And although some things in some of the
movies did not happen,or happened differently,I feel they were still done
better than the movies made recently.Take the movie the Untold for example,
the producers claim the movie is based on actual events,YEAH RIGHT!!!!
I reasearched this story and could find no records of any of the events in the
movie. You would think if 2 people who went looking for survivors of a plane
crash and didnt make it back out of the woods,it would make the national papers!!
Plus the fact that at the end of the movie it states, that the one guy in the rescue
party,(I dont remember his name, and dont want to anyway),claimed the party
was attacked by a sasquatch, but all the others said it never happened.
Then on their website they claim that two or three members of the rescue
party were along on the scenes to make sure the producers stuck to the facts
of the sasquatch encounter!!What a contradiction!!! And as far as documentaries
are concerned, the only recent one that i saw that gave credibility to the
possibility of sasquatch and was well done, was Legend Meets Science.
