Hi Angie,
A big YES from me on the Campout/Research Week here in Michigan! biggrin.gif I like
the second week-end in June and the following week! And a big Howdy to some
old Friends, and some new ones I have seen catching up on the thread!
I see Mark, Rhonda, Bill and Stacy that I have met before! Look forward to
seeing you all again this summer! Sorry that work kept me from meeting with some of you in Detroit last week!
If the campout starts the week end of June 12th, I should be available for the
first 6-7 days!
Thanks, Angie, for the invite! Good to hear from you again! As I said to you
in an earlier private email, Sue and I will be glad to assist in setting up and running
the camp, cooking and taking care of things in camp! Look forward to the field
research and hikes! new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif

Well, hey there Bruce! Good to see you here, welcome! Might possibly be seeing you during this whole thing...we moved to Florida over the summer but I think it was a huge mistake, and most likely we'll be back home within a month or so. Look forward to hearing more from you here! smile.gif

Hey Guys I want In!!! How about adding a Wisconsin Gal? I am not too far away that I could drive over there and help! I know there have been sightings near Mio which is east of Grayling on Hwy 72. The area in Oscada county around Luzerne has lots of swampy areas perfect for Bigfoot. Lewiston has also had sightings. If including Upper Pennisula area, Marquette county is very promising, north of Ishpeming near Fire Lake. A very remote mountainous wildlife area, with lots of lakes and rivers. Any other areas you Michigan tackers are watching? The sightings are so spreadout it is hard to pin point one area as best! In my opinion, the late summer early fall time is usually best for sightings. That seems to be when most sightings occur July thru September and then hunting season of course. Also best camping time as well. Keep me up to date on this-okay????

Sailgirl, most of the communication about this trip has been moved to a private thread. You may have to PM Bipto to get included on that thread which has the specifics of the outing.

new_thumbsupsmileyanim.gif Hey Guys! I want in too! I am in Wisconsin, but maybe a few of us Wisconsiners can come together and drive over there! I feel July or August would be good- lots sightings during this time, also better for camping/water trips. Oscoda and Montmorency counties are full of sightings! The Mio/Luzerne area is hot as well as Lewiston. If you want Upper Michigan I would suggest Barage county near L'anse, or Marquette county near Ishpeming by Fire Lake. This area has had sightings and is prime Bigfoot territory!!! But any of you that have had Michigan sightings or know the hot spots-all the better! biggrin.gif Just keep me up to date on this, I am self-employed and can come almost any time preferably a long weekend. July is slow for me work wise, so this just is better for me. But I am flexible new_tonguesmiley.gif
