BEST PROOF YETI

THIS furry leg could solve the mystery of the Yeti.

Russian Serghiei Semionov, 40, found the 10-inch long chunk of limb on
a Siberian glacier last August.

And scientists say the limb does not belong to any species known to
man. Experts said its owner would havewalked on two legs just like the
Abominable Snowman of legend. Serghiei found two portions of the limb
along with ribs and fragments of pelvis in separate trips. Tests
showed they are thousands of years old.

There have been thousands of alleged sightings of the Yeti.

IS THAT BIG FOOT FROM A YETI?

By Nick Henegan

COULD this be the foot of the mysterious Abominable Snowman?

The 24cm-long foot with claws and reddish-brown hairy leg was found by
40-year-old Russian scientist Serghiei Semenov.

Mountaineer Serghiei stumbled across the limb 3,500 metres up in the
Altai Mountains, Siberia, where legend has it the creature lived.
Tests have shown the bones are several thousand years old and do not
belong to any animal living or extinct.

Experts say the structure of the leg and shape of the foot means the
beast walked upright. Serghiei said: "I examined the sole of the foot,
and I thought it looked unusual. So I decided to bring it back with
me."

On two previous expeditions to the glacier Serghiei found ribs and
fractions of the pelvis. The legend of the yeti originated in the
Himalayas in Nepal. Similar beasts have been reported around the
world.

Sooo.. this is different from that bear's paw that they found a few months ago, right?

This is almost certainly the same story as the 'yeti leg' from a few months ago.. I'm not sure why it has resurfaced. I think even the quote from the guy is the same (thought the sole of the looked unusual, so brought it back).

Everyone who has seen the photos that i know of has immediately identified it as the hind leg of a bear. It might be an extinct species of bear, it might even be an unknown species of bear, but it ain't a primate leg, which means (in my mind) that it ain't a Yeti leg.

I'm not sure if this is based on the same story or not, I just thought I'd post them. I'm sorry if it was a waste of time.
Howlingmad
Not a waste of time if you didn't know Suz wink.gif

I see the dates of the articles are recent, but the
story is months old. Got hashed pretty good here.
