Reporter Jason Clarke at at the UK’s Morning Star appears to be the one responsible for tracking down this update and the new video in the Polish media:

A terrified teenage student has told how a Yeti spied on her in her bikini as she took a dip in a stream on a camping trip.

Yeti-hunters have been flocking to Poland’s remote Tatra mountains after reported sightings and films showing a large, hairy ape-like creature emerged last week. (See here.)

Now new footage has surfaced apparently showing one of the beasts stalking Justyna Folger, 19, during a camping trip with boyfriend Tadeusz Serafinowski in the Tatra mountains.

While Justyna paddles for her boyfriend’s camera, a shadowy hulk can be seen creeping through the undergrowth on the other side of the river bank.

“I wandered into the river for a dip when I realised that something was on the opposite shore,” Justyna told Poland’s Super Express newspaper.

“At first I thought it was a bear but it appeared to be stooping and then it raised itself on to two legs and ran off. I couldn’t believe it,” she added.

Now mountain rangers are on alert and hunting for the mysterious beast.

National Park Guards Commander Edward Wlazlo said: “We are investigating the matter. If there is something out there we will find it.”

Yeti experts have been flocking to the mountains since Piotr Kowalski, 27, from Warsaw, filmed a Yeti-like creature emerging from a Tatra mountain path.

“I saw this huge ape-like form hiding behind the rocks. When I saw it it was like being struck by a thunderbolt,” he said.

His film has been handed over for examination to the Nautilus Foundation, which deals with unexplained phenomena.

“The film clearly shows ’something’ that moves on two legs and is bigger than a normal man,” says Foundation President Robert Bernatowicz.

“But because the camera shakes so much it is difficult to say what it is exactly. We need to go to the site and see what traces, if any, were left.”

I can't see anything in the vid.

Bikini-clad Polish girl? And the yeti's checking her out? Sounds logical, eh?
Grazhopprr
If you watch it full screen, pause it, then move it frame by frame with the pause button, you can see a fuzzy brown thing, stand up and walk to the right. It's on 2 legs. You can see the back and the right leg fairly well.

BF, and bikini's,... man I love this place! thumbup.gif

Doesn't anyone in Poland have a steady hand? The 2nd vid I've seen today that's shaky as hell. Did they suddenly ban smokes over there??
Saskeptic
Hoo, boy. I suppose this could be a bit more contrived . . .

Probably too much vodka before lunch. But at least they're not drinking scotch!
I thought it was an interesting video, and I'll leave it at that. biggrin.gif

I just dont get the point of filming what they were filming. It just seems set up when there is nothing happening other than the girl walking in the water then BOOM a Yeti appears. I seems like on alot of videos they start with the most mundane thing and end with the most exciting thing like the plan is centered around Igor in the Yeti suit but they fail to set it up as believable. Not calling it fake yet just an observation.
Furious_George
Best cameraman ever.
I'll say fake because she was never in frame. There wasn't more than a 3 second stretch where it wasn't shaking a lot. She was not the intended subject or reason the camera was on. He was waiting for his buddy in the suit.
LindaJM
Hard to believe amateur movie makers in Poland can't keep a camera from shaking wildly about. The brown blur at the end at least is acting Bigfoot-like, by running to hide, unlike the other Polish yeti video where it came out from behind a rock to be seen.

I wonder if these film makers know each other. They could have been using the same costume.

If the Morning Star is actually the Daily Star as the UK Newspaper in question, then we're bordering on a Comic not a Newspaper Guys & Girls, bear that in mind...

Cant we get better looking bikini girls? That one had no butt.

Oh I saw something brown at the end of the vid.
Shef
Fake.

Why did the camera stop recording?

Why on earth if you had actual footage of something like this would you turn the camera off?

Fake. Fake. Fake.

On my monitor it looks like it's CG.... but that might be my eyes.

Ok. Here's a still frame from the footage. Two images, same frame of the vid. It looks pretty convincing to me, but it is too shaky and blurry to tell for sure if it is a costume or not. Definitely not CG, though. I am still working on the vid and if I can get it cleaned up to the point that it shows something at least semi-clearly; I might post on YT. We'll see. Well, have fun with it and all I did was adjust brightness and contrast, sharpen filter, selection to focus adjustments.

The Morning Star was founded as the newspaper of the Communist Party of Great Britain (previously known as The Daily Worker). Hardly credible! new_lmaosmiley.gif

That's remarkable! I will have to try the photoshop thing to see if I can get similar results.

THANK YOU! I could not see anything the the clip! new_thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

Thanks guys! I worked (am still working on the vid) pretty hard on it. To Linda, you guessed it! Photoshope 7.0 ME! Now, photoshop has had some negativity attached to it in the past; it would be possible to fake a pretty convincing pic after all, but I try to stick to simple techniques to avoid those kind of insinuations. By simple, I mean, adjustments (brightness/contrast, hue, etc.) and built-in filters (sharpen, unsharp mask, noise filters, etc.). I try to avoid any kind of manipulative measures (ie. cut and paste) and I couldn't do any of the real photosop "magic" if I tried. Don't know how, don't want to. In spite of any of that, it is still a powerful tool. Once you've gotten a handle on the simple basic stuff, you can do some pretty amazing things with old, blurry, out of focus photos. I am no expert, so, if I can do it, anyone can. SasBig, you're right; it does look pretty convincing! Thanks again for the compliments guys!
