Just after playing some tennis today in Ludington, Michigan I talked with Carol Perez of Ludington who, stated that in the Spring of 1995, was driving her car near Corpus Christi and saw a brown sasquatch at a distance of approximately 100 yards and saw it between two groups of trees. She described the sasquatch as being of average build for a human and covered with brown hair. It was not a bear and she stated that it definitely was not a human. It seemed to be bent forward somewhat as it walked. She felt that she had a good enough view to state that it was 12 feet tall.

Carol: If you have anything more to add, please e-mail me.

I was born and raised in corpus christi, and as much as I would love to believe it, I can't imagine a 12 foot tall anything being able to hide down there. This is not pacific northwest forests, by any measn. You would be hard pressed to find a tree 12 feet tall, much less an unknown primate. Most of the wild areas down there are covered with "chaparaal" or short thorny brush that reaches maybe 4-5 feet tall on average. Along the coast you are talking 2-3 feet tall. This reaches as far as you can see in any direction. Any stands of trees big enough to hide one would be relaitvely small, and isolated. If I had to guess, and I am sure research exists that could be more accurate, but I bet no more than 2% of the area has trees over 8 feet tall. A 12 foot sasquatch would stick out there like a sore thumb .....

I wouldn't rule this one out as impossible, but I tend to agree with Rex. Not a lot of cover for a long ways around CC. It would certainly have to move only at night and lay low during daylight. Closest forest of any size that I saw was about 170 miles NW of Corpus.

It would be interesting to get a definition of "close". 5 miles, 20 miles, 30 miles?

Sorry, I can't fathom this being possible either... I would even go as far as to say that I would have almost refrained from passing on such an account.

Yeah but that doesn't mena to say that it WAS 12ft does it ??

For some people, seeing one of these Creature would be traumatic/amazing/unbelievable ( amongst other things ) & when the Human Brain is seeing something it didn't think existed, it's only natural to exagerate certain things..

Bobby, I think that besides the height being a bit of a stretch, the idea of such a creature in the CC area is even more so. I tried to get an earth view to post here, but couldn't handle it with my system.
