The show is having an FBI forensic video expert examine the photos and video. They are also administering a polygraph to Dave Shealy.

Dave Shealy failed the polygraph, pretty badly judging by the guys reaction who gave it to him. The polygrapher, said very strongly, that the results indicated the skunk ape footage was staged....

It might sting a bit, but at least the TRUTH finally surfaces. We can dismiss that piece of the puzzle, quit wasting time on it, and move on to the other pieces.

On the flip side there is another skunk ape researcher they interviewed who quite strongly had no use for Shealy. I did not catch his name, but this researcher has a strikingly different set of foot castings then what Shealy offered up. He also gave the show a hair sample, which the forensic expert stated plainly was "unlike anything in their sample database."

That was Scott Marlow. The trail they were walking on to get to Gator Creek was my 'stomping grounds' in Green Swamp. This is the area the Central Fla field researchers spend most of their time.

Did the polygraph machine burst into flames?

This show was pretty good.
Did anyone else think Dave Shealy's print looked ALLIGATORY?

No, it didn't burst into flames, but at one point Shealy looked at the tester like he thought lightning might strike him at any moment.

Sad......truly sad that yet another "Reseacher" and I use the term loosely feels the need to hoax. Makes this southern belle wanna use improper language! :/

I was watching Penn and Teller and they showed lie detector tests to be bullsh*t. Is there other evidence to show that researcher is a hoaxer, or just failed lie detector?
Rex Lee
Aug 11 2009, 11:08 AM
Penn and Teller ARE entertaining, but is their assertion that lie detectors are B***S*** really reason enough to discount their use?

My next door neighbor is a retired Houston homicide detective who now runs a private polygraph and investigations firm. His main contract is with the state performing post conviction polygraph testing on sex offenders i.e child molesters and rapist as a condition of their parole. He says that in his experience the machine is about 90% reliable with a highly experienced operator. He told me that there are many people who confess to a crime after failing a polygraph; but there are exceptions. Aside from that Shealy was sweating like a rooster at a voodoo festival when he took the test, that's a pretty good indication for anyone that someone is being less than truthfull.

I spent over eight years in the Green swamp researching and along comes a few hurricanes and a sighting from J Ward and there goes the neighborhood for researching ( ugh ) . I then stumbled upon a man who I thought I could trust and now everyone knows about my sites ( Grrrr) .
Moral of this rant , hurricanes bring nothing but trouble lol . The four years before the 05 hurricanes were peaceful times in the Green swamp for research .

Carolann,
Was it because of Scott Marlow, or because of J. Ward that the area has become know to the general public?
Also, have you seen a big increase in the 'Yahoo' BF enthusiasts in the area?

does anyone know where we can see this video for ourselves? for a good laugh maybe.
a couple of our aussie boys hamish and andy had an interview with dave shealy which aired tonight in oz, and he was saying its the most convincing footage yet of the existence of the bigfoot creature, when they asked to be taken to a good spot for skunkape searching, he took them in his ute and funnily enough there was a gorilla suit in the back.
