Interesting encounter and so recent too.

Wow, very interesting. Just wondering why there was not more on the description aspect of it. She didn't say if she saw any other features or the face of it or anything like that.

Still, very interesting no doubt.

I can understand being frozen and unable to think clearly. It's difficult to wrap your mind around what your eyes are seeing since typically your brain is having to instantly shed everything you've ever believed about your own environment. Even for those folks that "believe" but have yet to see one for themselves; when that moment comes you will be hard pressed to do much of anything except stand in awe and fear of the kind of potential these creatures have. Its like being in the water with a great white shark. Your instincts scream at you to get out of the water but there's a part of you that really wants to stay and see what happens next even it means you MIGHT be on the menu.

When I was young I remember my grandmother telling us kids that we shouldnt go past our third cattleguard (the one farthest from the house that led the way out to the main road) after dark because a "Booger" might get us. We would sit on the porch and stare down the road into the darkness wondering what was out there. Eventually the double-dog dares would come and we would walk the half mile across the fields toward that guard and the trees and woods beyond. At that point even a miniscule sound such as a misquito fart would send us running at full speed, screaming all the way back home. I knew I didnt have to outrun the Booger, all I had to do was outrun my brother and my cousins. If a Sasquatch was out there lurking in the shadows I would imagine he was laughing at the little, stupid humans in whatever way they exhibit humor. But it was something we had to do. Thats why I still go back into the woods, even now after seeing the creatures twice. Its a healthy fear that you can live with, but one that ignites all that curiosity because you know that there are still things in the world that are almost magical. And in this day and age that's pretty fantastic.
