gghg, it doesn't matter where it is. It's always the same story. Janice Carter, Khat Hansen, etc. If there coming up and eating out of your hand, or you've been interacting with them for 40 years, take a damn picture or film it with perfect clarity. It would shut everybody up and give instant credibility to your story. But, magically, it never happens. That's why these stories become trying after a while.

Yeah, I remember a story in the same vein about a family group near Memphis. The human family had observed them for years but would not produce images or allow anyone to investigate. Always suspicious in my mind...

There has been a saying floating around the internet for a few years, it goes like this...

"Pics, or it didn't happen..."

But sometimes it's not a blanket refusal to take photos. Sometimes it's "yeah we've got pics. They're pretty clear and they show the patriarch Big Joe, his Sas wife Jilly, the two juves Sally-Mae and Roberto Inigo Montoya and their Texan cousins Sandy, Tall and Red, who stopped by on a trip to Alaska. We'll post them on the net when we work out how."

Do you think that I could use that on the wife or would she just smack me and I'd be even "more wronger"?

For a claim that is this outrageous I don't see how photo proof (which even that can be fakes) isn't required. Too many people believe everything they read on the internet... but that is a whole other conversation.

How about; "here are all the pics. They're only of me, my family and dogs because the sasquatch family took them. This proves that, not only do they have opposable thumbs, but they're good on f-stops and infill-lighting as well."

F-stops unless they used the automatic setting. I wonder if they prefer Canon or Nikon.

That is the problem with message boards though. Anyone can post, and anyone can post anything. You do not get to hear it come out of their mouth, you don't see their facial expressions... and even if you did... you didn't see the creature yourself, nor did they provide any undeniable physical evidence. A story on a forum isn't proof of anything.

You can lump these "sighting databases" into that group of 'why is this evidence?' evidence. They make for a great read... but each one should be taken with a grain of salt. Heck, I could use those databases as proof that people in Oregon are better liars than people in Hawaii.

I'm certainly not saying i believe this Story but one thing you Guys have to bear in mind about Pictures is that maybe people don't want to share these Pictures, if they had them, with anyone let alone a bunch of people they don't know on a Forum where a Thread titled " Type of Gun you prefer " has had nearly 50k views & nearly a Thousand replies, or the Internet in general..

The World doesn't revolve around what we/you want & the proving of BF's existence isn't the be all & end all for the majority of people ..

At the end of the day, a Picture will " prove " nothing, Jeez we still even have the " Man in a Monkey Suit " shout sometimes when discussing a Video shot over 40 Years ago ( which hasn't been debunked even with todays Technology, which is far superiror than 1967 ) by 2 young Cowboys..

Show the body & you'll get acceptance of the Animal, show the Picture & we'll get a Thread on teh BFF maybe lasting a few Years, where some people say it's the real deal & others won't..

This chick sounds like Mary Green's long lost sister. I like how they help her out by offing cats when she asks them too. Instead of Fox she should name this one Luca Brasi.

Following that line of logic, then why would they mention it at all? They want to tell everyone about their BF habitation, but leave private the one thing that will give it credibility? That really makes no sense to me at all. I got BF, I see them/talk to them all the time. we play Majong on Friday nights. I even have pics, but no I won't show them because........

Some of the folks on that forum have started bad mouthing the good folks who post here on the BFF. I don't think they realize that some of the leading researchers in the field are right here amongst us.

I agree--too easy to get some pictures or make a video. With multiple sightings by different people in different locations, someone can come up with some pics!!!!

At my house we play cribbage when BF and his family stop by. Maybe it's a Pacific Northwest thing. I'd take pictures but my camera is never charged up when they come. You should taste Ma Bigfoot's raspberry pie, though. Mmmmmm.

That's the key. Those that just want attention will tell anyone that will listen, but will then be unable/refuse to back up their statements. If a person really were sitting on something significant and did not want the world to know about it you'd never hear a peep.

You know sometimes when I am down and just about to give up I come in here and there will always be someone who find a weird story to cheer me up and this one was a good one...especially that one lady who has them in her yard at night. What I want to know what is she growing, smoking, chewing or eating and why can we get some? I have heard some realy strange stories about ol' Bigfoot and i have tried to view any photos that come out for the public. But this takes the gate for the month and maybe the year. Happy hunting.

Thanks peregrine for posting that response to Carolina dog. All I know of her is from that article and her ramblings on Bigfoot Live each week where she is prodded to come up with a more compelling story each week. Yes, I skip over most of the show but listen to an occasional guest for the train wreck factor. She's seen them fight over boyfriends/ girlfriends, have sex, and yes they can dissapear. The most telling line was when asked which researcher had come to her area to check
out her claims, guess who? Yep, Jon-Erik Bjeckford. Case closed.

I bought binoculars with a built in camera--I haven't come across anything. More than likely --luck and happenstance are what counts....

Now, I have a complaint about that woman who ordered her alleged Squatches to kill two tomcats. If she could afford to own a computer, surely she could afford to take those two toms in and have them neutered. And if she doesn't want them, or can't afford so many, why not try to find homes for them? She makes me sick, talking about driving away all those poor, starving homeless pets. If I were the alleged Bigfoots, it's HER head I would pinch off, not those of the poor cats. Her behavior is criminal as far as I'm concerned, so why should I believe her tall tales?

Someone posted not long ago that if one really wants to protect Bigfoots, they will not talk about their sightings or where the BF are at all for fear that people will come and try to kill them. I think so too.

1. Money?
2. Attention?
3. Both?
4. A good laugh at our expense?
5. ( And Least Likely) To show the world they have actual proof of Squatch?

One might argue - Well, they don't want to share pics or any other solid proof that Sasquatch exists to protect the national Squatch population...
