Not to be a stickler, but exactly WHAT is someone going to do to follow up on this?

The report IS the follow up as the incident happened so long go, they are not even sure of the year.

Re examine the witness?

Walk out on to private property and look around in 4 directions scratching your head going "Yup, might have been a BF here 12 years ago, has a creek and some trees and other stuff growing, tastes like wild hickory nuts" ?

Troublesome report... Not to play the "woulda, coulda, shoulda " game, but did these people not have flashlights? Could they not have made at least some kind of effort to identify the perpetrator? I just got back from Camping this weekend, and if I was awoken to the sounds of somebody knocking over my cooler, or the sight of someone reaching into my vehicle to steal food, things would have gone down differently... as in guns drawn, tactical light focused on the subject.

Furthermore, if they are aware that something human like ( either a person or sasquatch ) was frequenting their campsite and being a nuisance, I woulda posted a rotating watch between the 4 of them to guard the camp....

Any BF stickin it's arm into my van, gets a knife in the arm, for blood samples. Lock and load, flood lights turn on, cameras on, deal with the consequences. " campsite attacked, 4 campers found in pieces ".

So eldonkey, where did you camp out at? hopefully, it was broken mirror. I like your tactical reponse. i won't tell the bfro on you. hopefully, we'll have some more this coming weekend at broken mirror.

if you can make it this weekend, the more the tactical the better.

Sorry to say I was not at broken mirror, but in an area north of Clints Well, in my Elk hunting unit of 5B south. Also, I don't think I will be able to make it up this weekend, I have company coming in from out of town that we have to entertain.
