Could he be defending it because he put his butt on the line stating it was legit? There's nothing in his list of "evidence" that couldn't have been faked or misidentified. If he really did have that much hair, especially with lice, there's no reason why we shouldn't have a DNA sample submitted to a scientific journal by now.

I love an entertaining story as much as anyone...but whomever gave this woman the slightest bit of credibility, even in the way beginning, needs to step up their bs meter a little bit. I was listening to diane stocking on crypto corner the other day and she put it perfectly, anyone who claims long term contact with sasquatch(s) either show the proof or you will be thought of as a liar.
