Somebody had this, or another new version, in another thread, with links to YouTube testing of it. The resolution is VHS quality, and would be blobsquatchish. Suppose you could use this to catch things that you see, if your hand held is pointing in another direction, then turn the good camera to what you see. Continuity. Lots of people see things before they turn the camera to film it.

Yeah it's not spectacular but it's cheap and portable as a helmet cam.

I think I'll keep looking at the small HD ones. If I can find an HD one with decent focus etc, then I'll try one of those.

Ultimately I'm looking for something small, hi def, that has an external mic plug, that can be mounted in a tripod or frame so that I can add a mic dish, an IR light, some laser pointers etc
