cool.gif Yup, I watched this the day it was posted: More Blair Witch `I-found-this-in-the-attic` uncertainty. Maybe it is a film student`s effort at making an `aged and distressed-look` film or maybe the real thing that grampa stuffed away in the attic a long time ago and forgot. I have to admit, though, that, even with the severely degraded state of the film, the figure does seem to possess a girth and mass that arouses my curiosity. But, hey, there are lots of big, 300 pound people around, especially today!

I said this same phase as I was watching it.

If the editor wanted it to look like 8mm film shot in 1977, why did he use an effect that made it look like it was shot in 1927? I was expecting Charlie Chaplin to ride by on a bicycle.

laugh.gif Too funny, Furious George!

Gilbert film school protege' perhaps? At least theres actually a moving, visible object in this one, real, hoaxed or otherwise.

LOL - I was thinking the same thing (though you put it much better than I would have). The graininess of this film makes the PGF look like high-def!

Hey, I know that Bigfoot! It's the same guy that's in the Freeman film!
RavenMadd
looks like my ex?

"I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside. Run. He's fuzzy. Get outta here!" --Mitch Hedberg teehee.gif

Some of the enhancements reminded me of something even creepier.

Way back around '81 or so, National Geographic did an issue on the Mount St. Helens eruption. There were photos taken by this guy as the eruption happened. The film was bubbled and warped from the heat, but you see this huge plume of ash and crap coming towards him, then it's falling all over, there are rays of light and fragments falling on the windshield. It's eerie to see photos taken by someone you know died to get them.
