I think I saw this on MQ. Some scientist says he believes it's just a bloated dog that floated in the ocean and got washed up.

I think he pointed out some area of the nose and jaw line for identification, stating it was a large dog like a boxer, pit bull, I can't recall.

Looks like a dog with it's face removed, cause thats the skull bones that you can see. You can see a tail as well, but you cannot see the lower portion of the legs (any of them) they may have been eaten along with the snout! I'd go with dog!

Last I heard they are decomposed boxers (breed) dogs. I'll buy it.

As usual the animal is way too decomposed for any kind of positive identification and since those idiots contaminated all the possible evidence by touching that rotting carcass (which in itself is disgusting. I have no clue as to how they manage to do that without ending up retching as most of us surely would!) there is possible viable DNA identification to be done either.

The original Montauk carcass got kicked around here. I was of the opinion, as were many others that the first was a racoon. As for this one? That baby is a bunyip without a doubt.
