When Bigfoot gets up close and personal and screws with your mind, could it be that there is some testing going on to see just where your
nervous system brain wave state strength and weakness patterns are? Maybe it is a form of threat assessment so to speak? Have fun with it!

Food for thought....so there must be a BF in it somewhere.

Which of course points to the underlying biophysiological reality of the brain which we are just now starting to be able to objectively study in its functioning context.
And brings into question a lot of long held belief as to how human thought is processed, much of which is integrated into our enlightened human perspectives on things, some of which are pretty important, such as our perception of what "law" is in relationship to crime and punishment. There are a lot of "just so" stories woven into our rational belief on what constitutes reality.

If exploring a topic like this is interesting, anyone would probably also enjoy watching the 20 minute video presentation at TED.com where renowned neurologist VS Ramachandran presents a fascinating look at stuff we know about the brain...and what we don't.

These TED talks are a rich source of interesting subjects and perspectives.
Check out the TED talk from last January (i think) of "Dirty Jobs" guy Mike Rowe...possibly one of the funniest and insightfull programs I've seen.
