The topic of Mysterious Encounters came up tonight, and the fact that a certain well-known member's family was featured on the Alabama Booger Monster episode. Got to talking about how cool it would be to be able to call up your family and say "Hey, you see any Bigfoot today?" Which led me to wonder........

Lisa and Ranshirl, I know you've posted about probable BF-related experiences that occurred at the house where Lisa grew up. Ranshirl, do you still live in that house, and if so, does anything ever happen there anymore?

I wish I could tell you what is going on in that house now but I am afraid I can't. I do watch the area around there for signs and I have seen some things that make me wanna go hmmmm. I can't really say what it is though. I have not lived in the house for a long time now. It was my mothers house and I lived in it with her for a period of about two or three years as well as being around there all the time when my mother lived at the house. My Dad is gone now and my mother lives in an senior citizens place. There used to be a lot that would go on at the house though during the time we were at it and there has been some reports I believe from that area still. Lisa might be able to remember more to tell you but that is about all I can remember to tell you right now. I still think it is probably around in the area. I just have to find how to get to the area without disturbing the people who live in the house now. In answer to the next question,no, I don't know who lives there now. I am not brave enough to go ask them if they have had strange encounters in the area there either. Lisa and I go into the area around there ever now and then to see if we see anything that looks promising though. Wish I could tell you more, but we don't live there now and don't have access to the imediate area.

I didn't figure you lived there still, but just in case, I had to ask. I know Lisa's related, or at least mentioned, some stuff that happened there, but I can't remember any of it specifically. Ah well, next time she checks in here, I'm sure she'll see this.

Hey Stacy. Sorry it took so long to answer your question. I have been offline for a while and in the process of packing up for a move and everything is all up in the air right now so I don't have too much computer time. I was also in Louisiana all last week for the Thanksgiving holiday.

We haven't had access to that house and land since we moved away from there in the early 80's. I still check areas near there hoping for something, but no luck with that.

The house was owned by my grandparents whom we lived with at the time while my parents were separated. My grandfather died during that time and my grandmother could just no longer continue living alone after we moved away and was moved in with us and the house and land were sold. I don't even know who owns it now.

I haven't given up on that area and probably never will as it holds a special place for me because of our encounters there.

You know, if anything really exciting every happens, you'll for sure hear about it...LOL
