So I'm working on the theory that my router is nearing the end of its life. Assuming that's the case, I have acquired a replacement. I'm going to be installing it sometime after 6:00 PM CST on November 25.

If all goes well, the site should be down for less than half an hour. If the site is down before then, it's just another death spasm from my old router. Or it's something else entirely. Hard to tell sometimes...

I would have just bought a new bit and checked to make sure the switch wasn't going bad. But hey, what do I know?
