Has there been any new updates to the Yeti research that Sapporo is funding?

I know they found a bear's foot.. so now they are claiming that is what everyone has been seeing.. but any other news?

btw what do you think is more plausible?

Bigfoot in North America

or Yeti in the Himalayas?
ranshirl
I think it is very possible that they both exist. smile.gif
BTW welcome to the bigfoot forum. biggrin.gif

I thought the bears foot was millions of years old? I believe that both creatures exist, and that they both descended from Gigantopithecus (Yet they are two different species).
robo
The bear's foot was thousands, not millions of years old. And i think it was found by recreational climbers, not by the Japanese expedition.

As for the Japanese expedition, maybe they've been enjoying a bit too much of their sponsor's fine product and are still sitting around base camp. smile.gif

My mistake, thanks for the correction, robo. wink.gif

Heck.. upon further research, i'd be surprised if they'd even left Japan.. http://www.sapporobeer.jp/english/guide/sapporo/

...the Sapporo Beer Park, featuring as much Sapporo beer and 'Ghengis Khan' barbequed mutton as you can eat?!? Apparently gets 1.5 million visitors a year!

They left in late August for 6 weeks or 2 months depending on
which report you read. It was Suntory, not Sapporo that
was a major contributor. Lastly, the best place to keep an
eye on this has been the "What's New?" section of Bobbie
Short's website Bigfoot Encounters

There are five links to news articles on that page.

Oh, and that leg? Found by climbers in a region of Southern Siberia
and not related to the Japanese expedition at all.

Cheers
robo
Ah, yes. Whiskey, not beer. Even better. wink.gif

Hi Ranshirl.. thanks for the welcome...

My girlfriend is from West Monroe, Ouachita Parish.. I think I have checked out your site before..

her dad is a big deer hunter so I don't know if he has had any weird experiences.. not that I would ask him... I might want to marry his daughter one of these days.. I don't want him to think I am too weird..

I would think hunters in the "Sportsmen Paradise" would have already shot a bigfoot by now, if they saw one.

off-topic... I wish her parents would be home for Thanksgiving.. I wanted to go to Monroe and try some deep fried turkey or a Turducken..
