I want to appologize to everyone on the BFF for my recent tirade against TB. TB and MM are pissing me off to no end. They are making the srious reaserchers look like fools. Everything that TB says is real turns out to be fake. My family and I( yes they support me in this) are seriously thinking of moving out to BC so I can activly searh for Sasquatch full time rater than search 2 weeks every year.
I give everyone here on the BFF my word and promise that I will do all I can to prove Sasquatch is real and not embellish or falsify any findings I make. I will let you all know when I am going to search, but not where until I am done in the field for the season.
Not that I don't trust the people on BFF but anyone can read these posts and we wind up with idiots running through the woods in ape costumes. By not saying where I'm going to look, there's not much chance of hoaxes.
I am very serious about this. I will prove that Sasquatch exists, one way or another.

How many years do you intend to invest? I ask because many others have taken a similar path and been unsuccessful. (John Green, Rene Dahinden, Dr. Krantz, etc.)

Of course I can't promise anything, but I will promise this. If I find foot prints I will not sit on them, but I will contact certain people here on the BFF to come and validate what I find, including Red Rat Snake, Bi pedal, spudsquatch and select others. I will set up camera traps in places that I have found tracks before. I will not use plaster to make casts but a rubber compound instead, the rubber compound will show all the details in the track( epidermal ridges etc.) I will spend as much time in the field as I can. I will ask other serious researchers to come on weekend trips to help.
I expect to hear a certain ammount of sceptisism, that's why I don't advertize where I'm going to search, less chance of hoaxing that way.

Hi
No Apologies needed on my end, I have seen and heard the things that have been said and done by those two so i understand completely,
One piece of advice i can give ya , It comes from one of our members ~ Le Petit Pied ~ She almost hid behind a BF while playing hide and seek as a kid and got the scare of a life time,

Come out here! Come out here!

No, really, one thing to remember to aid in the credibility of your footprints, when you find them, is to try to photograph and somehow document that they go a long ways. It's not just the cast that counts, but the step, stride, and the environment that answer the questions of what is the beast, what is it like, and where is it going. What is it doing there. Etc.
But good luck, dude, on finding the big folks. They are very very smart and very very shy, apparently. Remember Jane Goodall and her chimps. She stayed in the forest for months, feeding them piles of sugarcane at regular times each day, before any of them trusted her with even a glimpse.

LOL.. I'm nearly up to 10 years myself. And I still consider myself a noob, compared to some.
Makes me think of a quote, which I think, came from Rene Dahindin...
And I paraphrase: "What will you do that hasn't been tried before?"

Start by looking for hot zones ,where there has been alot of sightings and you know for certain that these creatures are in that area.Start camping there and reaching out to them and letting them know you want contact .Once you have done that keep that going because after that it is just a waiting game .Keep things to yourself or within your group until you have gotten what you wanted as proof .Becarefull with these creatures once you have found what you are looking for.Try not to put up the camera traps ,this will just take you back from where you started and you will discover nothing.do not try to prove them to no one but yourself ,if you can do this then you will know the truth about them.Personaly they should just be left alone and i believe that this is why they are moving more north and deeper into the swamps and forest.

Hello bigbearbuddy,
Yep, no need to apologize for a late revelation that there are certain entities in this interest that makes you feel a non affiliation to the the subject.
They piss us all off.
Have you come across Todd Standing yet? Another pissy letdown.
The wonderfull thing about this forumn is that you get it all.
The good and the bad.
To make use of the good - you need to suffer the bad. I hope it dont discourage you right off.
I'm looking forward to throwing some artificial flies around with you this summer and discussing some squatchy shitt. I'm sure when two like minded people get together on this subjecct, there'll be only positive outlooks come out of it.
Dont know buddy how much you've researched this but if BC is your stompng grounds then you may want to check out these folks.
http://sasquatch-bc.com/Best there is in my opinion.
I'll be talking to you. Looking forward to seeing you/you'se this summer.

Well, if sasquatch do exist, then they do exist in BC, as well as other locations of course. To myself BC always stood for Bigfoot Country. Problem is BC is damned big and there is as incredible amount of area that is pretty much unaccessable.
Hope you have lots of money or a career you can settle into 'cause the economy is getting rough out west. Rent and mortages are ridiculous, unless you move away from major centers.
If you can establish a small area, let's say 10 miles x 10 miles (that's only 100 square miles of dense forest) that you are very confident contains at least one sasquatch. A history of current reports can help establish the above criterea. Then move your family into the middle of that area and live like squatters till the locals trust you, eat you or possibly, you end up becoming one...LOL
If I was to give up everything and move across the country to find a sasquatch, I think I would choose one of the coastal islands in northern BC or southern Alaska. I would also track down Robert Alley.
BTW...someone told me where a sasquatch is living in BC if it will help you any

....seriously

Not that it matters but he died going into a housefire. He got a 2 year old child out but didn't make it out himself. If people on this site do not believe that Phil is no longer with us, if they don't think that our children and I aren't going to his funeral, if you don't understand what it feels like to lose someone you love, I guess he was wrong about this site, I guess he didn't have any friends here afterall

I stay away from things like this espesiaclly when someone dies ,I am just not good with dealing when someone dies but we all have to go through that portal one day.But this is wrong and i mean really wrong that we have to investigate this because we as human just do not believe in another person grief. It is distgusting the action that is taking place, and it is truely wrong.I cannot believe how we as humans can act this way over the death of another person.
I never did get a chance to corespond with Bigbear but it seems that the big man upstairs had other plans for him .It also seems that he now knows the truth to alot of answers that we still do not have.I am truely sorry for his loss, but may he be with us in spirit.Take care Big bear and may you now enjoy that new spirit that we have been promised. One day we will meet .

Julio,
It is sad, but I am sorry I have to disagree. There are several red flags with this situation. If it does turn out that this is a hoax, then those who perpetrated it should be called on the carpet. If this turns out to be a tragic loss of life then all of us know that the members of the bigfoot community are pretty good at setting aside differences and rallying to the support of others.
Sadly, in this day and age, nothing can be taken at face value.
I am sure Paul will keep us posted.
