I had never seen that one either and thought it was pretty cool. Did you hear the radio interview with him from 1957 too?

Poor Rene spent the vast majority of his adult life chasing through the woods in search of bigfoot and never got so much as a glimpse. He never got his mega-millions either.

I agree, poor Rene! I really feel sorry for him that he never was able to actually validate his belief in this creature with a sighting. The same can be said of John Green too. No matter what your opinion on Rene was, he definitely brought some flair into the bigfoot community! I wish I could have met the man, as he is a Sasquatch hero of mine. I can understand how it took a complete hold over his life, ruined his marriage and his personal relationships. I can see why Thomas Steenburg always says "For God's sake, don't get into this if you are married!" I guess something can be learned from Rene still.
