I know there are a few clips up at BFRO, and there's "The Bigfoot Recordings" on CD and tape, but are there any other recordings anywhere else on the web? I remember hearing one on a Discovery channel documentary (Not Legend Meets Science) a while back that sent chills up my spine. Scariest damn animal sound I've ever heard. They had the lady show where exactly she recorded the sounds and everything. Anyways, if there are any others, let me know, I'm really interested in the sounds right now...

They Only one that really scared me was the one on Sasquatch, The Legend of Bigfoot. Haven't heard of anything else scarier. Would love to hear What you heard!

Belle - if that was a documentary on the Discovery channel a few years back, it might be the same one I'm talking about. I guess it's not available on the web anywhere, as the Oregon Bigfoot site says they have the largest library of sounds out there. (Thanks RB btw)
I'm now wondering, there must be some sound engineering program that can filter out the static and background noises on some of these recordings, right? Does anybody know anything about that? It seems to me like it would be a worthwhile investment.
Which brings me to another question: When researchers are blasting sounds in the field, what sounds are they using? Are they just the same ones that I've been listening to on the web or something entirely different?

This sound was also used on A&E's Ancient Mysteries. It was posted on some site. Not sure where now.
Thought it might be Seirra Sounds. Could be wrong. See if anyone close to you have either Sasquatch. Legend Of BigFoot or Ancient Mysteries and see if that is the sound you heard.
Good Luck on your search

Thanks Belle, I'll look into it. Perhaps the sound was exposed as a hoax and that's why we haven't heard it anywhere since...?

My Webpage
Check This out!!! I heard an identical yell, ( minus the lion's roar at the end) echoing off the ridgetops at 11pm at a remote campground in British Columbia in 1970.....( Click on the recordings tab at the bottom right then select no 4.......and turn up the volume......If the above link doesn't work; go to "Bigfoot Encounters" in the links section of this site...Then go to the links section of that site and click on the "Washington State Sasquatch Search Group"... Then click on the picture to enter the site and click on "Recordings" at lower right.....

I tried both sites. No dice. Both of the links are dead as far as I can tell.

I did too! Nothing there. The sound at bluenorth isn't the same one as A&E.
Funny someone should mention it being a fake call, My brother inlaw had bought a deer call
and was fooling around with it, he made the same call as the one Mention on A&E and Sasquatch, Legend of bigfoot!
But then again I never heard of it being a hoax though!
